Doc told me that she received from Paddy. He killed Dawson.  We were relieved we didn't have to deal with Dawson. The Dawson's lost a son/ brother and I lost my biological mother who I was getting to know.  My sister Caitlyn now has no living parent. Caitlyn, myself and Jane's family helped me have funeral services in Chicago. I was at the gravesite and wasn't expecting to see the Dawson's family. His sister and parents paid their respects. His sister approached me before I got into the limousine with Jane and my sister,  Caitlyn.  I am so sorry that my brother ruined your family. My parents understand your pain.  We don't have any harsh feelings towards you Dr. Isles.  I want you to live a happier life after you are done with your grieving. Good bye Dr. Isles."
We heard that Antonio services was private and it was a close casket.  Paddy showed up to say his good byes to my mother when we were leaving.
Caitlyn and I set up a scholarship for one person each year for anyone who wanted to become a coroner.  We would pay their school bill when they started as one in memory of our beloved mother.
I stayed with doc for several weeks while she dealt with the loss of Hope.. Caitlyn left the United States and became a lawyer in England.
