9. My plan

I know my days are numbered and this was just a warning.  I wouldn't be traveling to Boston.  I figured that I would get back at Dr. Isles another way. I needed to heal some before I do. I know I only have maybe a month to live. My revenge plan will be limited.
I start doing my research on the person's work days, errands, social friends, restaurants they frequent. The likes and dislikes of food eaten in public. I know the rumor mill is strong in the criminal world. Who can I rely on to help me? Who do I have enough evidence on to take down without being a Law officer anymore.  I drive to a local bar he frequents.  He sees me and knows its not good. You either help me or your baby mama dies and you get to watch it piece by piece she dies as well as your baby boy. You know I am capable of doing it. I have nothing to lose.  He agrees to help me. I will buy some poison to have him put in her lobster bisque.  Its taste less and odorless.  Several days have gone by. It is scary when you learn someone habits what someone like me or another ego maniac or deranged person will do. Fabian puts this in her food after its prepared.  He cleans up well. I make sure I have an alibi with my former partner.  We meet up for lunch at a Chinese food restaurant.  The food is always good but the cook is slow. EVERYONE who is a regular knows that.  Atwater asks me,  "how you doing? I miss you as my partner. It's not the same.  Did you update your life policy and pay it? When the day arrives, I am going to miss you. We brought up several cases we worked on and places we went to have fun.

"When Covid first arrived and they didn't have masks ready for us. You wore your bandana and wanted to make sure they knew you were a detective."

"Remember when I played a utility company supervisor,  I did well and you were ticked Voight had you climb the telephone pole. You were so ticked that you had so many slivers in your hands and legs. I had zilch."
