*newt looked shocked as Maddy explained what she saw in her blackout*
"what so we have already done all this?" he said, confused
"yea, but everything was switched around"
"what do you mean?" he replied
i continued, "i mean in the other maze, with the girls, i was second in command and you were the only guy and also the new greenie, it was exactly like what happened with me."
"so..... we already know each other?" he said
"yea, i guess, and i also remember the maze, i remember mapping every bit of it, knowing that it was near to impossible to get out of this place" i replied
"what else do you remember?" he asked, curiously
he was so intrigued with what i was saying, it was almost like her was mesmerized by my words, shocked by all the things i was saying.
"i.... i remember.......i remember the way i felt for you. i loved you newt"
newt went bright red
"oh, i know this may seem awkward but, do u like me in the version of reality?" he said, nervously
"i....guess i do, ive never really thought about it that much" i said, not knowing what he was going to say
it all went silent for a few seconds, it felt really intense
he looked at me and smiled
"please say something otherwise i might pass out again" i said in a joking way
"i dont know what to say" he replied, blushing a bit
he continued "if the two mazes are similar and we are switched around, and your not messing with me, then i guess it is right"
"im not sure i get it" i replied, confused
"well if you like me in the other world and you are me then its correct for me" he said
i looked at me, seriously confused
he laughed then continued
"i like you ok, ever since you came up in that box i knew you were different, you have always been...the one. bloody hell that sounded creepy" he said
i burst out laughing, he did too
after i calmed myself down i said
"ok, what now"
i could feel myself blushing
"i dont bloody know do i" he couldnt stop smiling
"hey, what are you doing here, youre meant to be out working!" a stern voice said and as i looked around i saw it was alby
"oh sorry i lost track of time" he paused, looked back at me then said to me "ill see you later ok"
"yea sure" i said back, trying to act normal around alby
