🏫Chapter Three🏫

*An hour later, with Marinette trying to hide miracle box in her locker*

Marinette: *Puts the miracle box in a cardboard box and puts the lid on, out of breath* And I thought my bag was heavy.
Adrien: *Walks in* Hey, Marinette.
Marinette: *Jumps in front of the box* Ahhhhhh, Hiiii Adrien. *Nervous laughs*
Adrien: Hey, I was just going to put some stuff in my locker. *Opens his locker*
Marinette: ha... yeah... me too. *Smiles widely*
Adrien: *Looks at the box on the floor* Is that your sewing machine?
Marinette: Huh?
Adrien: The box.
Marinette: *Smiles nervously* What box?
Adrien: On the floor behind you.
Marinette: *Looks at the box* O..oh.. yes... this box... yes.. it... it's my sewing machine... uh... don't mind me, just going to put it in my locker. *Kneels down and tries to lift up the box*
Adrien: *Sees her struggling* Do you need some help?
Marinette: I've got it... *Finally manages to lift the box, starts to loose her balance* Woah...
Adrien: *Holds his arms out ready* Are you sure?
*She starts to fall forward and Adrien catches the box*
Marinette: *Staring into his eyes*
Adrien: Let me help you, Marinette.
Marinette: *Still staring* O..ok...
Adrien: *Lifts the box and puts it into her locker and shuts it*
Marinette: Th..thank you, Adrien.
Adrien: *Smiles at her* No problem. *He shuts his locker door and walks away*
Marinette: *Sighs happily* Ahh, Adrien.
Lila: *Listening from her locker, rolls her eyes*

*At the Agreste Mansion*
Nathalie: *On her computer, typing*
Gabriel: Now that Adrien is away, we can start our plan to get the Miraculous.
Nathalie: *Stops typing* What did you have in mind?
Gabriel: We know children will fight if they've been with each other in the same room for over a period of time. We wait until I feel a negative emotion from one of them.
Nathalie: Maybe we should bring Lila Rossi's psychological talents into the works?
Gabriel: *Evily smirks* Perhaps so...

*Back with Adrien and Nino, planning their project in the library*
Nino: Dude, this project is going to be so cool!
Adrien: I can't wait to start building it!
*They high five as Kagami walks into the room*
Adrien: *Stands up quickly* Kagami... hi...
Kagami: *Feels awkward* Hey, Adrien.
Adrien: Sorry, Nino, I'll be right back. *He goes towards her*
Alya & Marinette: *Holding books, walking up to the table*
Alya: Ok we got everything we need?
Marinette: Yep.
Alya: Hey Nino, where's Adrien?
Nino: Talking to Kagami.
Marinette: *Looks over to them*
Adrien: I am really sorry about all the lies. I never meant to hurt you...
Kagami: I know but I still can't trust you and besides... *Looks at Marinette*
Marinette: *Quickly looks away and into a book*
Kagami: *Looks back at Adrien* I think I know where you were all those times.
Adrien: *Confused* Huh?
Kagami: I know you like Marinette.
Adrien: Marinette? No, she's just a friend.
Kagami: Well if you weren't with Marinette, where were you?
Adrien: I... I can't say...
Kagami: As expected. Come back to me when you have an answer. *Walks away*
Adrien: *Frowns a bit and sighs*
Nino: Poor Adrien. He must be finding this break-up very difficult.
Alya: *Looks at Marinette* Hey, Marinette, why don't you go talk to him?
Marinette: Mee?! I...
Alya: Adrien needs a friend right now. *Winks*
Marinette: I... uh... um... ok... *Puts her book down and walks towards Adrien* Hey..
Adrien: *Turns around* Hey, Marinette.
Marinette: I was just... uh... wondering... uh.. if you were okay and if you need a friend to talk to I'll be here for you. *Nervous laughs*
Adrien: *Smiles at her* Thank you, Marinette...
Marinette: *Smiles back*
Adrien: *Hugs her*
Marinette: *Surprised, blushes*
Adrien: I knew I could count on a friend like you.
Marinette: Yeah... a friend... *Hugs back, closes her eyes, starts to feel a bit sad*
