The School Lock-In

🏫Chapter Twelve🏫

*At the school*
Cat Noir: *Holding Marinette's hand as they walk into the school*
Marinette: *Sees a bunch of cages*
*Rena Rouge and Carapace are trapped in one and the students and teachers are trapped inside classrooms*
Marinette: *Gasps* OH NO! *Covers her mouth, runs over to Rena and Carapace* What happened?!
Rena Rouge: *Eyes widen* Marinette, behind you!
Cat Noir: *Picks up Marinette*
Marinette: Cat Noir, what are you doing?!
Hawk Moth: *Coming out of the locker room* Thank you, Cat Noir. Just put her in that cage over there.
Cat Noir: *Drags her into a spare cage*
Marinette: Cat Noir, this isn't you!
Cat Noir: *Locks the cage*
Hawk Moth: You're right, it's not. It's a sentimonster.
Marinette: SO WHERE'S THE REAL CAT NOIR?! OR IN FACT YOUR SON!
Hawk Moth: Oh trust me, he's not here. Infact, these superheroes won't tell me where he is!
Carapace: THATS BECAUSE WE DONT KNOW WHERE HE IS!
Hawk Moth: So since they weren't telling me where he is, I created a sentimonster to get you back here so I can move onto my next plan.
Marinette: Which is?
Hawk Moth: *Clicks his fingers*

*With Adrien and Plagg walking down the street*
Adrien: *Sighs, wipes his tears*
Plagg: Adrien, are you sure you're making the right decision?
Adrien: Marinette's been captured, Rena and Carapace are saving her and Hawk Moth is my father. What do you think, Plagg?
Plagg: But you can't give up on Ladybug.... you can't give up on Marinette!!
Adrien: Marinette's better off without me...
Plagg: *Flies out of his jacket* OK ADRIEN.
Adrien: *Jumps a little*
Plagg: I haven't had any cheese since 2am and it's now 8am and in an hour, you was gonna give me some of the cheese from your project! I may be cranky right now but you can't leave everyone like this! You know you love Marinette and you would do anything to protect her...
Adrien: But I failed...
Plagg: WHO CARES?! You learn from your mistakes and I'm sure Marinette would say the same! Now, you're gonna go home and save Marinette!
Adrien: *Nods* You're right! I LOVE MARINETTE AND I'M GONNA SHOW IT TO HER! Plagg, claws out! *He transforms and uses his baton to get to his house, he jumps through the door*
Cat Noir: *Runs around the house, looking for his father and Marinette, his baton rings and he answers* Hello?
Hawk Moth: Hello, son.
Cat Noir: What have you done to Marinette?!
Hawk Moth: I haven't done anything. In fact, it's you who has if you don't come back to the school to save your friend. All you have to do is tell me who Ladybug is and hand over your miraculous!
Cat Noir: And what if I don't turn up?
Hawk Moth: If either you or Ladybug don't turn up, Marinette will soon pay the price for your mistakes... *Hangs up*
Cat Noir: *Shocked* What have I done?!

*At the school, Hawk Moth is waiting besides Marinette's cage, holding the fox and the turtle miraculous*
Nino: I can't believe you gave him our miraculous...
Alya: I had to...
Marinette: *Opens her purse, signals towards Luka and Kagami trapped in the locker room*
Tikki: *Nods*
Marinette: *Gets out a piece of paper and writes a message*
Tikki: *Takes the paper and goes towards them*
*Cat Noir arrives at the school*
Marinette: Adrien!
Cat Noir: Marinette!
Hawk Moth: *Puts his cane in front of Marinette*
Senti Cat Noir: *Holds Marinette*
Hawk Moth: I see you've come alone... thought you and Ladybug were a team...
Cat Noir: Ladybug's not coming.
Hawk Moth: I'm sorry but this isn't going to work. I asked for both miraculouses!
Cat Noir: You don't need both our miraculouses, father! These aren't something for your designs!
Hawk Moth: They're not for my designs, they are for your mother!
Cat Noir: *Eyes widen* WHAT?!
Marinette: Adrien, don't listen to him. He's only trying to make you give up your miraculous!
Hawk Moth: Shut her up!!
Senti Cat Noir: *Covers her mouth*
Marinette: *Mumbles, tries to remove his hand*
Cat Noir: HEY! *Runs towards Senti Cat Noir and punches him*
Senti Cat Noir: *Gets flown towards a wall, almost going through it, falls face first*
Cat Noir: Stay behind me, Marinette.
Marinette: *Stands behind Cat Noir, holding onto his arm*
Hawk Moth: Adrien, son...
Cat Noir: No! I'm not going to help you!
Hawk Moth: Not even to save your own mother?!
Cat Noir: Mom wouldn't want you to do this!
Hawk Moth: *Gets angry* I know what's best for my wife and she's needs to be back with me! *Charges towards him*
*Marinette stands in front of Hawk Moth and he hits her which sends her flying towards to wall. She lies there unconscious*
Cat Noir: MARINETTE! *Runs towards her, kneels and tries to wake her up* Marinette...
Hawk Moth: *Realises what he's done, drops his cane and the miraculouses in shock, he runs out of the school*
Viperion & Ryuko: *Arrive*
Ryuko: *Picks up the cane*
Viperion: Let's go after him!
Ryuko: Right behind you!
*They leave*
Tikki: *Unlocks all the doors and cages and picks up the miraculouses, goes back to Marinette* Marinette?!
Ms Bustier: *Runs up* I'll call an ambulance. The festival can not possibly go on right now.
Mr Damcoles: I'll cancel the event and call Marinette's parents.
Cat Noir: Claws in. *Detransforms, still holding Marinette, a tear falls*
Nino: *Kneels down, places her hand on Adrien's shoulder*
Alya: *Smiles and kneels down too*
Adrien: This is my fault...
Plagg: Adrien, no, we're not doing this again! You will stay by her side, she needs you right now!
Adrien: *Smiles a little* Thanks, Plagg...
