Chapter 4 - I told you please keep it as a secret!

Note: ~ This is a romantic comedy, parody, slice-of-life story so expect a hint of lovey-dovey stuff, light comedy, some references from other anime, manga or games and a lot of daily life conversations. And nope, this isn't a fan fiction :) ~

Story thus far:

After Shin accompanies Miyuki at the bookstore, they started feeling a little bit embarrassed towards each other. As Miyuki comes home, she hurriedly wanted to read the light novel and talk about it with Shin the next day. Miyuki did not have enough sleep last night. On the other hand, Akito asked his friend Niko about what he thinks Kaito's gender is. Kaito left early for school in a hurry before the class representative gave something to the class. Akito volunteered himself to do it. When he came to his house... he saw a girl in a maid costume.

Akito's POV:
Akito: K-Kaito-kun?

The girl in a maid costume turned around in surprise when I said Kaito's name. Is she "Kaito" by any chance? Or... does she know him? Is she a relative of his? I walked closer to get a good look. Step-by-step, I could feel my heart pounding... thumping. I bit my lip as I came closer to someone... who looked very familiar to me.

As I got to face her, both of our eyes widened. I gasped internally. Why is she--Wait... so...

Kaito's POV:
I went home as fast as I could so I could record the anime that I'll be missing due to work. I hurriedly recorded it. Changed my school uniform to work clothes. Lace-outlined black-and-white maid dress. With some lolita-styled footwear. And with my long black-haired wig. Then, I put some make-up too. I also brought the light novel that I'm excited to talk about with Shin later!--NO... I'm not that hyped about it...

Kaito: Yosh!

I slapped my cheeks. Here we go. Ready to be Miyuki!

Miyuki: Ittekimasu!

I went out of the door. Silently closing it. Joyfully went out of the gate. I can't wait to prepare for the event that we will be having for tomorrow!

And then as I walked out, I heard a faint call of my name far behind be. I looked back and saw someone. A guy? Is he calling me? Or someone else? He began to walk closer, and the closer he gets, the more nervous I get. Oh my goodness... He was... He was in our school uniform! Did he found out who I was? Wait no... not all of the people in our school already know me. Is he perhaps in my class? Closer. Closer.

Oh crud. It's Akito of all people!
My eyes widened and so are his.

I need to pretend I'm not Kaito. Wait, but by this he'll notice that I'm really a girl! But... but in a maid a costume? AHH HOW EMBARASSING COULD THIS DAY EVEN GET!? Ah, screw being embarassed, I better get to work!

I bowed my head and apologized then hurriedly walked away from him. It might be rude but I've got priorities too!

Then I felt a warm feeling in my hand. Akito grasped my hand toughly that I could not escape. Oh for work's sake! And then I felt his body closer to my back. He whispered something gently to my right ear.

Akito: Ka-i-to-kun

I was startled. I knew it. He knew that it was me. There was no escaping this time.

Miyuki: *Female voice* W-What do you mean?

I tried to turn around and to look at him but he stopped me.

Akito: Don't turn around.

Miyuki: *Male voice* Hah?! *cough* How could I talk properly to you?!

Ugh, why did my voice changed now?!

Akito: I said don't turn around.

Oh this brat... What's with him? Is he laughing? Or... embarassed? I SHOULD BE THE ONE GETTING ALL EMBARASSED HERE.
