Your dad looked at you lying on the floor in pain.

"Where's that man you were with!?"

"Dad please..."

"Tell me where he is, or you'll never leave this goddamn house ever again!"

"DAD IM SORRY!...you were right...I shouldn't have gone with him alright.."

You began sobbing while your mom held you.

"Tell me, did he touch you __??"

"I got away dad...please just stop already.."

"It's okay honey...let's take you up to your room.."

Your mom held you while walking upstairs and you knew this worked to get you out of trouble. Of course you'd probably get into some type of trouble, but hey at least you were gonna see Rhys later today. The day went on and you showered and took a nap. You woke up around 2:00 in the afternoon and headed downstairs. Your mom and father sat on the couch talking.

"Hey mom...and dad.."

"Honey could you come sit with us for a bit?"

Oh great now you would have to explain everything. Well time to lie you thought to yourself. You sat on the couch across from your mom and dad.

"Why did you go with him __?"

"Look he made me dad if I didn't he would have killed all you... and I..."

You then began to fake cry.

"Dad I didn't want to see you or mom ever getting hurt let alone my brother killed by them...so I went with him."

"Okay...but what about that speech you gave me about wanting to purge to cleanse your soul?"

"The man told me to..if I was ever asked as to why I was there..to answer with that."

Your father was about to say another thing but the doorbell rang. The three of you eyed each other before your mom stood to answer it. She opened the door letting Rhys inside. He saw that you were 'crying' and ran over to you asking what's wrong.

Your mom them eyed your father letting him know to leave the room to give you guys some privacy. He left and then you explained to Rhys what you told your family. He hugged you tightly not wanting to let go.

"___," he whispered your name.

"You've done an amazing job keeping this a secret. What do you desire as your reward?.."

"Reward?"

"Yes..anything you want.."

"Look, I don't want anything...I just...want you.."

He leaned in to kiss you but you stopped him.

"Not here remember?"

"Yeah but your family bought the story about me making you do it..so it's fine right?"

"Well we need to keep it a secret for a while. If we just start dating right now, my parents would sense it was you."

He smiled then kissed you on the cheek while giving you a hug.

"Thanks for understanding Rhys.."

Your mom walked in asking him if he'd be staying for dinner.

"I'd love to Mrs. (Last name). "

You and Rhys headed upstairs to your room where you both started playing video games.

Your mom started preparing dinner and decided to make lasagna.

"Hey honey where are the kids?," your father had asked.

"Our son is in his room and so is our daughter with Rhys."

Your father groaned.

"You know I don't like them being alone, especially in ___'s room."

"Oh stop it. We've known Rhys for awhile and me and you both know he isn't that type of guy. They're just friends."

"Look I'm worried about our daughter."

Stepping away from the oven while waiting for dinner to be ready your mother sighed.

"I'm worried about her to but now she's home safe and that's all that matters."

"Last night when I talked to Sullivan, he told me that ___ was getting comfortable with one of the guys. Possibly a boyfriend we don't know about."

A moment of silence passed.

"Well our daughter isn't going out with anyone.."

"That we know of.." he finished the sentence.

"For all we know it could be Rhys."

"James don't even think that. Rhys is a nice kid and if anything, he'd probably make a good boyfriend for our daughter."

Your father walked away not wanting to discuss the matter any further. He knew your mom wouldn't agree with him so he kept to himself about it. Deep down he felt like something was off, and suddenly Rhys didn't make him feel all that calm anymore. Walking up to your room, he tried to eavesdrop. Pressing his ear close to your door all he heard was you yelling at Rhys.

"Hey stop killing me! It's not funny!"

"Well stop sneaking up behind with a gun. We're supposed to be killing zombies not each other."

Your father sighed in relief. Good, they're just playing games. He then walked away to his room.

Rhys put down the controller.

"I am so done with this game. You keep killing me and I will not tolerate that."

"Oh come on, I'm just messing with you."

He looked at you and smiled. Quickly, he grabbed your face and brought it close to his kissing you.

You didn't hold back and kissed him back softly.

Rhys then started kissing your neck.

As much as it turned you on you couldn't help but push him away lightly.

"Did I do something wrong?"

"No..it's just..."

"Just what?," he said in a peaceful tone.

Looking away you averted your eyes towards the rug while your face became flushed with the color red. He took notice of this and assumed you were embarrassed. Your legs which had been closed and slightly towards your chest began to tremble at Rhys touch. His fingers traced the side of your thigh moving up towards your knees. His chin then rested gently upon your knees as he smiled at you.

"___,?"

You looked at him still blushing of course.

"You're cute as always. I find it odd how last night you were all over me and now you blush at the slightest touch.

Now you realized you probably looked like a tomato.

Lifting his chin up  and moving closer to you he moved the hair that covered your face.

"I want you to know that'd I'd never hurt you okay? If you ever feel uncomfortable just let me know. I really like you ___. I want you to know that."

Smiling back at him you embraced him.

"I really like you to ___."
