"Paul, wake up!" John said shaking my shoulders.
"Huh?" I groaned rubbing my eyes, I was never a morning person.
"You need to get up, we're going to be late!" John sighed, "Why do I always have to get you to wake up on time?"
"I'm sorry, John, I'm getting up now," I sighed as I folded the covers off me. I stepped onto the carpet and immediately moved my foot away. "Ow!"
"What's wrong?" John asked looking down, he saw a pen, which I stepped on, and a piece of paper, containing the lyrics for "I Will". "What's that?"
"Oh, it's nothing," I said picking it up and shoving it back into the drawer.
"You're one very mysterious lad," He squinted his eyes. "But, anyway, we need to get going! Quickly, say 'bye' to Sabrina."
My face lit up when he mentioned her name, "Right away!" I beamed before running to the door.
John grabbed my shoulder before turning me back around, "Uh-uh, not in you're underwear."
"Good idea, I should probably change," I smiled through embarassment. John nodded before leaving.
I quickly started to change, stubbing my toe onto the side of my bed while doing it, I winced through the pain. I seemed to be very clumsy lately. I finished changing and opened the door to see Sabrina and Lucy sitting at the table, talking while sipping on tea.
"Bye, Sabrina, bye, Lucy," I said walking up to them and hugging them both.
"Ooh, you better hurry up, the others are already waiting in the car," Lucy said.
"You're probably right. See you guys tonight," I said laughing.
"Bye, Paul," Sabrina smiled.
I quickly took a biscuit and leaped to the front door. I ran to the car which was waiting outside, I was greeted by angry Beatles and an angry manager, again.
"What on Earth took you so long?" Brian snickered.
"I'm sorry, I slept in again," I cringed, awaiting his reaction.
"You can't keep sleeping in!" Brian said angrily, "Oh, well, we can't do anything now, we better get going."
"Yeah, better late than never," John grinned.
We started driving.
"We have a press conference today," Brian informed us, "They want to know if you're going to release a new album and when it's coming-"
"We just released one! We just released A Hard Day's Night! And we gave them a bloody movie! What more do they want?" John groaned.
"How about you ask them? They are curious whether you and Paul are writing new material for a new album," Brian replied.
"Do you think they might question Sabrina?" George asked nervously.
"I don't think so, or at least I hope not. I don't even think they know who she is, and if they do, just tell them that she's a friend of ours, don't mention time travel, we don't want any stupid conspiracy about us," Ringo rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, you know what they're like! They'll come up with any silly conspiracy just to make us look bad! Soon they're gonna say Paul is dead, or something bizarre like that!" John shook his head.
"Well, we're here now," George pointed out.
"Fine, let's get this over with, remember, don't bring up anything about time travel, or conspiracy theories, or anything like that. Let's just play it cool," John reminded us all we before we got out of the car and entered the building.
"Today, we are here with The Beatles, that is Guitarist, John Lennon, Bassist, Paul McCartney, Guitarist, George Harrison, and Drummer, Ringo Starr," One of the press members introduced us.
We all nodded and smiled to the stone-faced members of the press. The cold look in their eyes made us all nervous.
"Barbara," The first interviewer introduced herself before asking her question, "Are The Beatles going to be releasing a new album, if so, when?"
"We are unsure when it will be released, but Paul and I have been writing some new material, yet we haven't recorded anything yet. Since we recently released our latest album, A Hard Day's Night, we are still doing some promoting, we can only do so much," John answered.
"Frank," The second interviewer introduced, "We have noticed something a little off with Paul, we have noticed he has been very unfocused and zoned-out lately, what is your explanation for that?"
My eyes widened, "I haven't been unfocused, I have been very focused, I have been very focused on writing new material," I denied.
"Could you explain when you fainted while performing a few days ago? Why did that happen?" Frank continued.
"I just had a headache and felt very hot," I explained.
"Could all of this have to do with Ashley, your ex-girlfriend, breaking up with you?" He continued.
I sighed, "It's a normal fact of life, everyone goes through it, a breakup, time is required to heal it, so there's nothing much I can do."
"Have you found a new girlfriend?" Frank continued.
"Why are all these questions about me and my personal life?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"We have noticed a new young lady who has been hanging around, with Paul in particular, could you explain who she is?" He continued.
"She's just a friend of ours," George told them.
The press conference took a painfully long time to pass, although it only lasted an hour and a half, it felt like it lasted an eternity.
"Thank you for having us," Ringo said as we all stood up and left.
We all walked to the car parked outside the building, I let go off the breath I felt like I've been holding the whole time.
"Why were they so interested in Paul's love life? And Sabrina?" Brian asked suspiciously. We all followed him inside the car as he started driving.
"I don't know but I can say that I was very nervous. When they started mentioning Sabrina, I felt like I was gonna lose my cool. What if they actually find out that she is from 2021?" I started asking nervously.
"Do you think they could catch onto it?" George's eyes widened.
"I reckon they would only catch onto it if one of us does something stupid, like tell them," John raised his eyebrows.
I nodded, "But, none of us would be dumb enough to do something like that, right?"
