Chapter 26

Annie's Point of View

I headed towards the kitchen as I felt my throat dry up. Last night was wild and I could barely walk a couple of steps just to get water. Armin is still sleeping soundly in bed and I'm not going to wake him up just yet since he actually did release several times last night.

As I placed the glass of water in the sink, I heard the door bell ring. I thought it was Historia but as I opened it, I was immediately filled with hugs by my three best friends.

"Pieck! Mikasa! Rico!" I hugged all of them back as they squealed and jumped.

"It's been a while since I saw you Annie! I'm glad you're safe." Pieck said as we sat down my sofa.

Pieck Finger is an artist like me and we're under the same entertainment company. I haven't seen her for a while since she was busy filming a movie in the states. I didn't know she was already back here. She's well known for acting in action movies but at times when she acts for romance films, her main lead is Porco Galliard which is also her real life boyfriend.

"We all decided to surprise you when we came back." Mikasa said calmly like how she always speaks.

Mikasa Ackerman is a multi-millionaire heiress of Ackerman Corporation where they own several well known brands spread and shipped worldwide. She's the younger sister of the bachelor and CEO of Ackerman Corporation, Levi Ackerman.

"You look healthier since the last time we saw you." Rico said with her strict yet enticing voice.

Rico Brzenska is the smartest of us four. She's a lawyer who graduated with the highest rank in Harvard University. She owns the top law firm, RBL which has different subsidiaries all over the country.

How did we meet? Well. We were in the Top Bachelorette Magazine a couple of years back and since then, we hang out with each other during our free days.

We all looked at the back as we heard noise. It was Armin who just woke up from his sleep. He was just wearing his robe but the robe isn't even tied and we can all see his bare torso showing.

"Looks like someone is not a bachelorette anymore." Pieck said as she looked at me with a smirk, making the other two laugh. I quickly stood up and went to him before fixing his robe.

"Armin! Atleast wear a shirt." I said as I pushed him back to our room.

"I-I didn't know you had guests I'm sorry..." He said frantically as he looked for a shirt to wear. As he wore what he chose, he smiled at me widely and gave me a thumbs up.

Gosh you don't have to be so cute early in the morning.

"Let's go outside, I'll introduce you to them."

When we went back, we both sat down the sofa and he looked at all of them, showing them his kind and bright smile.

"A pleasure to meet you ladies. I'm Armin Arlert." He said as he placed his palms on the back of his neck like he would always do when he's shy.

"I'm a big fan of your work Armin! I'm Pieck by the way!" Pieck said as she gave Armin her sweet smile.

"I'm Mikasa Ackerman. Nice to meet you too." Mikasa said as she softly smiled at Armin.

"Rico Brzenska." Rico shortly said as she tried her best to smile although she wouldn't usually smile at strangers.

"So Annie, Reiner invited us to dinner tonight. He told you that you should bring Armin as well. He wants to meet him." Pieck said as she showed me the place where we were eating dinner tonight. It's a five michelin star restaurant and of course we need to dress up to fit the mood there. I looked at Armin to see his reaction and he just smiled at me and nodded, implying that he agrees.

"Yeah sure count us in." I said.

"If you're bringing Armin, then I'm bringing Porco with me." Pieck said as she placed her arms on my shoulders.

"I'm bringing Ereh then." Mikasa said smiling sweetly as me and Pieck tried not to laugh at her pronunciation of her boyfriend's name. She just couldn't put in the n right there.

"Poor Rico, kept herself busy in academics that she had no time to date guys." Pieck teased Rico.

"Relationships are a waste of time and a pain in the heart. Who says I'll only be dating guys?" We all laughed at her response. She was indeed bisexual and we're not stopping her from eating chickens or sucking cats. It's her choice and we respect that open mindedly.

"Well, I have to be in court in an hour." Rico said as she stared at her wrist watch.

"Hmm my schedule is free but I might go to the salon to pamper myself before tonight. Mikasa are you coming with me?" Pieck asked Mikasa and she nodded.

"Well then we'll be leaving you both. It's a pleasure to meet you again, Armin! See you guys tonight!" Pieck said as she waved us goodbye and both of the girls followed from behind her as they bowed and smiled at us.

As soon as they closed the door, Armin hugged me from behind and leaned in the sofa, reclining our position. I felt his hot breath hit my nape as he caressed my bare tummy that was exposed due to my spaghetti strap top moving higher.

"Do you mind telling me about your relationship with Reiner? Isn't he Reiner Braun?" Armin asked as he laid my head on his chest. Of course he would know Reiner's name since Reiner is the most famous male actor aside Bertholdt.

"I've been friends with him ever since Pieck introduced me to him. Since he came to the industry first, I would usually ask him for help in my acting. He's the reason why I learned so many techniques in acting. No matter how busy he was, he would always teach me." I told him as I stared at the ceiling.

"Hmm." He hummed but that was all of his reaction. I shifted my position and now I was laying on my stomach on top of him. I cupped his cheek before pecking his lips.

"What's with the short reaction? Are you jealous?" I teased him but I didn't expect him to actually admit it.

"Can't I?" He said as he avoided eye contact with me. I gabbed his chin and made him look at me again before pressing my lips against his. I saw him close his eyes and bring my head closer. As I pulled away, I stared at his beautiful eyes that was very addicting to look at. You could feel yourself drowning but instead of panicking, you have yourself immersed in solitude in the darkest depths of the deep cold ocean.

"Of course you can. It's just that...You look so cute when you're jealous." I said as I smiled at him. He covered his mouth with the back of his hands and avoided eye contact again.

"Hey! Stop looking away from me will you!" I said as I grabbed his chin and made him look at me again but my eyes widened as he slammed his lips on mine just as soon as I moved his head.

I bit my lip as he pulled away with a smirk on his face. I slapped his arm before sitting up and avoiding eye contact with him. We've already kissed a lot of times but him suddenly doing it and surprising me makes me really shy.

He sat up and hugged me on my side as he rested his chin on my shoulder. I felt him sensually kiss the bare delicate skin of my shoulder blade before resting his head on the crook of my neck.

"You're mine, Annie."
