Armin's Point of View

"All of your books never fail to be the best sellers among the shelves! So tell me Armin, who is your inspiration behind these well made stories?" The host asked me.

"Of course my stories before were inspired by my wife, Annie." As I spoke her name, everyone began cheering and clapping.

"Before? So you mean your inspiration has changed?" The host asked curiously, raising his eyebrows as he raises tension in the room.

"She's still my inspiration but...Of course she's not the only one anymore." I said as I looked at my beautiful wife and daughter sitting side by side each other.

Everyone squealed as loud as they could when I kept my gaze on the both of them. Despite me being the star of the night, they shone brighter than I did. They're the light in my life that keeps me going through dark times.

"Of course you set the bar high again for dads and husbands out there! Y'all better start writing notes! It's a great night with the one and only, Armin Arlert the genius behind the stories that we love today!"

I smiled and left the stage as the ending song finished. All of my weary feelings were swept away as I saw the both of them waiting for me at the back stage.

"Daddyyyy!" My daughter yelled as she ran towards me. I chuckled as I crouched down, awaiting for her to come to me. She hugged me tightly as she came in front of me and I slowly stood up, holding her in my arms before kissing her forehead.

"Did daddy look cool on stage, Marina?" I asked my daughter. Annie and I named her Marina, a Latin for the word "from the sea." I couldn't put into words how much me and Annie loves the sea so much that we made our daughter's name related to it. Plus she was conceived near the sea, in fact in a jacuzzi.

"Yes! Daddy looked so handsome!" She said as she gave me a long kiss on the cheek. Annie came to me with a big smile on her face and I leaned in to kiss her.

"A guy was hitting on mommy a while ago!" Marina said as she pointed at Annie.

Annie smiled awkwardly and held Marina's hand as she shook her head, denying what Marina said.

"Oh really?" I smirked as I looked at Annie look away and bite her lip.

"Yes! But I told him to back off just like what you told me to do!" I laughed at my daughter's energetic behaviour and loud voice.

"I see...that's a good girl! I should punish mommy tonight then." I said which made Annie grip my waist tightly making me groan in pain.

"Ouch Annie! What?" I said laughing as she just glared at me.

"Let's go home now you two. It's getting late." Annie said and walked away as I just followed behind her, still holding Marina in my arms.

Annie was very motherlike now and she seemed to care so much about our daughter. She picked the finest things for our daughter from organic shampoo to natural foods. Before she gave birth she probably took away all of the stuff that could harm our daughter. She was very caring and protective.

I grabbed her waist with my other hand before giving her another kiss. She smiled at me and intertwined our fingers with each other as I held Marina with my other hand. As we got inside the car, I reclined my seat in order for Marina to sleep well on my chest and rubbed her back at the same time. She was a very energetic child so she falls asleep too quickly. Annie leaned her head on my shoulder. I placed a hand on her thigh and began rubbing it.

If you asked me what part of my life did I love the most, I would answer

The day I wanted to die.
