Luka grits her teeth as Rosalie grips Luka's hand tightly in pain while Carlisle sits between Rosalie's legs. Luka tries to comfort her imprint, but she was sure that if Rosalie gripped her hand tighter, it would break. "I can see the head; just a few more pushes, you can do it," Carlisle said in an encouraging tone. Rosalie breaths heavily as she pushes, "You can do it, my love," Luka said as the rest of the Cullens and pack members wait nervously in the living room. Jacob sat on the couch, holding two baby girls in his arms. Both girls were immensely beautiful and had their mother's chocolate brown eyes, but Renesmee inherited her mother's pale complexion and Edwards bronze hair, while her sister Sarah had a light russet complexion and Bella's brunette hair. Jacob wished Edward or Bella was with him as he waited for news on Luka's and Rosalie's baby, but he knew Bella needed to hunt before she could come near him or the babies. A loud cry from a baby comes out of Carlisle's medical room, making everyone sigh in relief. Luka's eyes fill with tears of joy as she looks at her son bundled up in a dark blue blanket as Rosalie held him. "Have you both decided on a name?" Carlisle asked as he looked at his grandson, who had Luka's dark chocolate eyes and a light russet complexion that made his Honey blonde hair stick out. "Nathan V Cullen," Luka said, then leans down and kisses Rosalie making Carlisle smile.
The next day Jacob and Luka were asleep on the couch, each having a sleeping baby on their chest. Bella and Edward watch from the window as the Cullen's come back from their hunt. Rosalie comes into the house first, looking at Renesmee in Bella's arms. "Finally. My turn," Rosalie said as Bella gives Renesmee to her. "Where does she sleep?" Bella asked as she looks at Renesmee. "In my arms or Jacob's chest. Or Edward's or Esme's, but she also likes sleeping next to Sarah," Rosalie said as Jacob and Luka wake up, and the other Cullens enter the house. Alice walks up to Bella in excitement. "Happy birthday," Alice said, making Bella look at her in confusion. "I stopped aging three days ago," Bella said, making Luka chuckle, "Like that's going to stop her from celebrating it," Luka said sarcastically, causing Alice to give her a playful glare. "Well, we're celebrating anyway. So suck it up," Alice said, then holds out a key for Bella. "I think for once you will like this gift, Bella, so go have fun," Luka said, then takes Sarah from Jacob so he can go with Edward and Bella. The following day, Bella, Jacob, and Edward walk into the Cullen's house, "Wow. Done already?" Emmett asked, making Greyson shake his head at his husband's antics. "Where's Renesmee and Sarah?" Bella asked, ignoring Emmett's question altogether. "Rose and Luka have them," Greyson said while looking out the window at Rosalie and Luka, who play with Renesmee, Sarah, and Nathan. "Break a lot of stuff?" Emmett asked with a smirk causing Greyson to hit him upside the back of the head. "What was that for?" Emmett asked Greyson with a dumbfounded look as the Cullen's phone rings. "Is that Charlie?" Bella asked in a sad tone wishing she could see her father but knew that it wouldn't be safe. "He's been calling twice a day," Edward said while wrapping his arm around Bella.
"He's in pretty rough shape," Jacob said as he leans against the wall. "Eventually, we'll have to tell him you didn't make it," Carlisle said. "He needs to mourn, Bella," Edward said, and Jacob nods his head in agreement. "Okay. We'll do it tomorrow," Bella said as she leans against Edward. "I'm gonna miss this place," Emmett said in a sad tone, "Yes, it is one of my favorite places to stay," Greyson said. "We'll come back. We always do," Carlisle said in a reinsuring tone. Jacob steps away from the wall in confusion, "Wait. Nobody said anything about leaving," Jacob said. "Once people believe Bella's dead, we can't risk anyone seeing her," Carlisle said. "So you just disappear?" Jacob said in an unbelievable tone causing Edward to touch his arm. "Jacob, we don't have another choice," Edward said in a soft tone, trying to comfort his mate. Upset at the prospect of leaving his home, Jacob leaves the Cullen's house. The next day after telling the truth about himself to Charlie, Jacob defends himself to Bella and Edward as the rest of the Cullen's watch. "It's official you're a dumb ass," Luka said in annoyance at her brother's behavior. "Look, I solved a problem. You were leaving. What did you expect me to do?" Jacob said. "You don't realize the danger you've put him in. The Volturi will kill anyone who knows about us," Bella said in a panicked tone. "No, I didn't tell him about you—just me. I only said you were different," Jacob said. "Putting not only the pack at risk but also Charlie! Not everyone belongs in the supernatural world, Jacob!" Luka said in an aggravated tone. "He also told him that we have nieces who we adopted," Edward said. "I mean, seriously, Jake, he's not just gonna let that go," Edward said.
"Did you consider the physical pain he'll put Bella through? It'll be like sticking a white-hot branding iron down her throat. And that's assuming she can control her thirst," Edward said. "Look, Charlie's been in hell. And I know you'll be much happier with him in your life. He'll be here in 10 minutes," Jacob said. "What?" Bella asked in surprise as everyone looks at him in disbelief. The Cullens do their best to help Bella prepare to meet Charlie; Alice places contact lenses in Bella's eyes. "These will irritate your eyes at first," Alice said before moving back to Jasper's side. "The main thing is not to move too fast," Carlisle said in an encouraging tone. "Try taking a seat. Crossing your legs," Esme directed Bella, who gets up to take a seat, but she moves too fast and slams into the seat, but Luka catches her. "A little too fast there, Bells," Luka said playfully, trying to lighten the mood. "Luka is right, maybe a tad slower. Hmm," Esme said in a motherly tone. "And blink at least three times a minute," Alice said as Bella starts blinking repeatedly. Rosalie moves to Luka's side carrying Nathen, "Good," Alice said as Jacob looks at her in disbelief, "For a cartoon character," Jacob said, then suddenly ducks as a couch pillow barely misses his face. "You keep your big mouth shut. If you had used your head instead of acting out of pure emotion, then Bella wouldn't have to go through this!" Luka said. "Hold your breath. It will help with the thirst," Carlisle said. "Just don't forget to move your shoulders, so it looks like you're breathing," Edward said. "And don't sit so straight. Humans don't do that," Rosalie said with a smile as she holds onto Luka's arm. "Okay. I got it. Move around, blink, slouch," Bella said, then hears Charlie's car park up outside the house. "If you need Rosalie or me, we will be in the other room," Luka said as she pats Bella's back then walks out with Rosalie and Nathen.
