The Wolf And Its Rose

                             Rose and Luka walk out of a pub in London, and they take in the cool night air as it was lightly raining, and you could see the moonshine through the clouds. "Ok, you were right. I love it here," Luka said, making Rosalie smile as she wraps her arms around Luka's right arm. "See, I told you it would be a great place for our first vacation together," Rosalie said, causing Luka to nod as they walk down the block. After the wedding, Rosalie had made it very clear that Luka and her need some one-on-one time. That's how Luka ended up in England of all places, but she would do anything to see Rosalie smile. Much like forks, the Cullen's had a house in the countryside of England which made things easier when Rosalie needed to hunt. The house was a vast British a state that the Cullen's bought long ago. The house was well kept for its age, and for Luka, it was like living in a part of England's past. The house was hidden by trees and stood before a beautiful lake. After a good hunt, Luka and Rosalie laid in the blond's old bedroom curled up under the covers together. Their limbs were entangled under the sheets as they kissed each other with a hunger that couldn't be quenched. The clothes they had worn laid sprawled about the floor; even a few had been ripped apart. Several nights had lead to this moment but would end before they could consummate their relationship. Rosalie loved Luka, but the things that Royce and his friends had done to her still haunted her, and those memories would play out in her mind keeping her from completely letting her guard down and becoming one with Luka. It killed Rosalie that at the very moment she thought she could finally give that part of herself to her lover, she would see his face instead of Luka's. She would see his hungry eyes and sadistic smile instead of seeing the love in Luka's eyes and her sweet smile.

                        Luka knew that this wasn't easy for her imprint, so every time she saw the fear in Rosalie's eyes, she would stop everything and just hold her through the night, whispering sweet nothings in her ear. But something about tonight was different, and Luka could tell by how Rosalie clung to her body as if she needs her more than anything else in the world. Luka's bare body laid over Rosalie's as the sheet spread loosely over their hips as they kiss. Rosalie's nails ran down Luka's back, making her moan. Luka looks into Rosalie's eyes, and instead of fear, she sees nothing but love. Rosalie reaches up and caresses Luka's cheek, "I trust you, your nothing like him," Rosalie whispered, then kisses Luka. In the morning, Luka carries out broken parts of their bed when she hears Rosalie's phone ring just as she feels fear and worry hit her from the bond she had with Jacob. Luka rushes into the house and stops next to Rosalie, who answers her phone. "Hello?" Rosalie said, then worry fills her eyes, "Bella? What's going on?" Rosalie asked. Bella sat comfortably on the Cullen's couch snuggled up to Luka for warmth, "I didn't know it was even possible," Carlisle said in amazement and worry. "What is it?" Jacob asked as he was pacing behind the couch. "I'm not sure. Ultrasounds and needles won't penetrate the embryonic sack's," Carlisle said. "Sack's as in more than one?" Luka asked while looking at Rosalie's stomach with worry. "Yes, it's called Superfecundation. It's when a woman has intercourse with two different men in a short period of time while ovulating; it's possible for both men to impregnate her separately. In this case, two different sperm impregnate two different eggs," Carlisle explained. "I can't see them either, and I can't see Bella's future anymore," Alice said. "We've been researching legends, but there isn't much to go on. What we do know is that they're strong and fast-growing," Carlisle said. "This is no one's business but Bella's," Rosalie said while glaring at Alice and Carlisle. "Rose! All this fighting isn't good for Bella," Esme said in a worried tone.

                        "The fetuses aren't good for Bella!" Alice said with a mix of worry and anger. "Say the word, Alice. Babies! They're just little babies!" Rosalie said. "Possibly," Jasper said as he wraps an arm around Alice, "Carlisle, you've gotta do something," Jacob pleaded. "No! It's not his decision. It's not any of yours," Bella said, and Luka nods, "Bella is right; it's her decision if she keeps the babies or not," Luka said, surprising Jacob. "But Luka, she could die!" Jacob said. "You think I don't know that! She is their mother. It's her choice. I will not demand her to get rid of them when they are innocent in this matter!" Luka growled out as anger filled her, remembering how her father had chosen to throw her away. Luka refused to do the same thing to these babies just because they are not normal. Jacob storms out of the house, his body shaking. Edward heads after Jacob, and Luka rubs Bella's back, "they're just worried, and they are taking out the only way they can," Luka said. Later Luka stands in Carlisle's office as he sits at his disk, "Is something wrong, Luka?" Carlisle asked. "I was wondering if you could check on Rosalie....if Bella could get pregnant..," Luka said with worry making Carlisle stand and walk to his daughter, laying a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I will talk to her and see if she is willing if that's what you need," Carlisle said with a comforting smile. Soon Rosalie laid on the hospital bed Carlisle had with her shirt up, showing a small bump. "You could have just told me you were worried," Rosalie said while looking at Luka. "I know how much you wanted kids, and I didn't want to get your hopes up," Luka said as she holds Rosalie's hand while Carlisle puts up an X-ray showing a fetus, surprising both girls as they stare at it. Rosalie's eyes filled with tears that would never fall as she looked at the baby growing in her. "It seems Bella isn't the only one expecting," Carlisle said.
