Jiro stepped into the suffocating summer heat after Kaminari and watched him tuck his phone in his back pocket. She eyed his outfit, the khaki shorts with and plain shirt which showed off his arms nicely, a red flannel wrapped around his slim waist. Her eyes snapped back to his when she noticed him turning around to fully face her. "Um, Toru says hi?" He was making a bit of a weird face, as if he wasn't sure what he was supposed to be feeling, maybe he wanted to comment on her outfit? Or that he thought he had caught her checking him out, even though she totally hadn't been. She rolled her eyes when she thought about what her parents might've said to him, she swore, if he brought any of that up. Half-heartedly mumbling an ok before catching the living room curtains move. Great, her parents were watching.

Whipping her earphone jacks she slapped his arm before trudging out towards the street, wanting to get away from the snooping. She did not need them to make any more assumptions. "C'mon idiot, we still have to go get Toru." "Ok, yes, but you didn't have to hit me." Kaminari complained as he walked beside her and rubbed his arm. "I told you not to knock. Now they have the wrong idea about us." She retorted and he pulled a weird face at her. "Well, you were the one taking forever." She rolled her eyes, but he was right. Not that she would ever say that to him. "I was about to come outside." "Right." He retorted dryly and they continued walking in silence.

"Well... your parents are nice." Kaminari offered after a while. Jiro raised her eyebrow at him, daring him to continue. "And you have a really nice home!" he finished. "Thanks." Was all she said. Gosh, the heat was really getting to her. She felt hot under the collar and her face burned from the mid-summer sun above.

They stopped in front of another house that was not too different from Jirou's. Before either of them had the chance to text Toru the door flew open, and a cute outfit bounded outside. A light pink shirt paired with jean shorts coming for them. "Hey guys~" She sang to them, reaching forward and hugging Jirou. "Hi Toru, you ready?" Kaminari smiled easily, the earlier tension vanishing in an instant. "Yep!" Toru exclaimed, still hanging off Jiro. The three of them set out to the park but it wasn't long before Toru turned to Jiro and asked, "So why were you two so late?" She hummed, "is it something that maybe Mina would be interested in?"

Jiro stared at the floating clothes for a second hoping that it was a joke, "Nothing happened, I was just running late." "You can't expect to believe that! It's so boring." Toru whined. "Tough luck." Jiro pulled a face, her gaze drifting to Kaminari who was looking at the sky, completely spaced out. "You can't mean to tell me that the way he was all over you at the hospital means nothing." Toru declared in a whisper. "Toru, there is nothing going on. Kaminari is one of my best friends. That is it." Jiro continued walking but she swore she could feel Toru stare. Finally, she turned to pink top, "aren't you more curious about what he'll tell us? Like maybe why Bakugo was at the fight between All-Might and that villain?"

"Well, yeah, obviously, but this considerably more interesting than whatever was going on then." The sleeve of the shirt waved in the air. "Plus, all of that is done and over with. Old news." Jiro scoffed, "Really? It absolutely does not concern you that All-Might fought a villain so powerful that he was forced into retirement?" Toru shrugged. "It is concerning, but the bad guy was captured. He's in Tartarus now." Jiro could only shake her head. To her it seemed like Toru was missing so much. Those other villains escaping, the fact that All-Might had retired, and now Endeavor was no. 1 hero.

They rounded the corner and sat down at a picnic table under the welcome shade of a tree. Gosh, the summer heat was really getting bad, Jiro thought as she watched Kaminari pinch his shirt to fan himself, the edge of his defined collar bone peeking out from under the fabric. A few moments passed before Toru finally cleared her throat, "Kaminari?" He jumped, electricity dancing a long his fingertips, shoulders and hair, the colors almost matching. "Right, right, sorry. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to say it." He said while leaning back, long fingers dug into the mesh pattern of the table in front of them. "Just spit if out idiot, I don't want to spend anymore time that what I need to in this infernal heat." Jiro snapped, the summer heat was truly insufferable this year.

He stayed staring at the leaves above them for a moment longer before nodding and sitting back up. "Ok, this actually stems back to the training camp." Kaminari said, watching them both closely with his golden eyes. "It seems that the whole purpose of attacking was to take Bakugo, the authorities speculate that it was to try and convince him to turn into a villain," he explained, and Jiro simply nodded. With the violent display that Bakugo had put on at the end of the Sports Festival it made sense. "Then what?" Toru asked. "Well, the villains got away with him, but everyone else was fine, mostly, except you know, you two, and Midoriya-" Kaminari rambled. Jiro waved her hand for him to continue, "right, well, apparently Todoroki, Shoji, and Midoriya tried to rescue Bakugo. From what they told us, he was a hair's breath away from them right before he was snatched by the villains." For a moment Kaminari's gaze wavered and his eyes flicked to the table before glancing back up at them. "Kirishima, I and about half the class were stuck in the remedial classroom." His voice got quiet. "We couldn't do anything while you guys were in danger."

His eyes focused on her, bore into her, pinning her in place. A small cough broke through the silence and Kaminari looked away. "The day before you two woke up Midoriya woke up. We were all there to see him and Kirishima tried to convince us to go rescue Bakugo. Apparently, the day before that he and Todoroki had over heard Yaomomo talking to All-Might and a detective. With the help of a class B student she had attached a tracker to one of the villains and they were planning on having Yaomomo create another receiver to find them and hopefully rescue Bakugo." He paused, staring at the table, his fingers absentmindedly playing with a ring on his left hand. "From here I can only speculate, but I'm assuming they went. Midoriya, Kirishima, Todoroki and possibly Yaomomo." Well, that explained the red, green and ice.

They all sat in silence for a moment before Toru playfully pushed Jiro's shoulder. "See, even with knowing everything there is not much about it. The fight is done, Bakugo is back, and the villain is in jail." It truly did seem that way didn't it? "But what about the dorm notice? You guys got it too, right?" Jiro asked, "We wouldn't need a dorm system if everything was truly fine." Kaminari shrugged, now slumped forward on the table while his shirt clung to his back. "Can never be too careful?" He sat up, the shirt now very much clinging to his chest. "There have been so many incidents this year. Remember the USJ? And that time the media somehow got into the school?" He crossed his arms and the muscle underneath flexed in way that had Jirou wondering if it was really the summer heat that was unbearable. "For a school like UA, it definitely looks bad."

"Wow, Kaminari, that actually makes sense." Toru giggled. "Hey, no need to drag me like that!" He exclaimed, waiving his arms around. Jiro snorted, "She's not dragging you, it's simply the truth." Kaminari gasped in mock offense at her. "Jiro! I thought you were my friend." "Yeah, you're lucky I am," she laughed. Jiro and Toru laughed at his cute pout. "Are you guys going to accept?" Toru finally asked. Kaminari nodded, "There really is no place safer than a school taught by pros, no matter what the media says." "My mom is a little worried, but my dad is all for it," Jiro said. "What about you Toru?"

She sighed sadly, "they are both really worried and don't really want me going back. I'm working on convincing them because I really do want to continue going to school there and with you guys." Jiro reached out rub her back comfortingly. "I'm sure everything will turn out fine." There was a pause, all of them thinking about what Kaminari had said and about the possible future of moving into the dorms as a class.

"Hey, how about we do something to cheer you up?" Kaminari finally said. "I know malls are a no go but what about the little shopping districts. They aren't as crowded but can still be fun." Immediately the floating outfit perked up, "that sounds great Kaminari, maybe we can all find something cute to buy while we're out." Jiro grimaced, the idea of going shopping was not very appealing but she did have to admit that after having been cooped up in her house for a while she was starting to get bored. She glanced at Kaminari to see if he was having second thoughts about this, but if he was, he was doing a terrific job of not showing it.
