"King of the court, huh?"
You looked up at Tooru, clicking your tongue as you reached up to smack his head.
"Shut up."
He snickered, turning around as you followed after him.
"I thought they called him that because of how good his skills are." You mumbled, letting out a small huff when Tooru swung his arm around your shoulders.
"Well it's not like he's bad."
"Yea but he's called king because of his attitude! If anything, he acts more like a tyrant than king." You whined, walking out to the lobby.
Tooru only shrugged, dragging you out as you started walking to the gym the girls' games were taking place.
"Is it so bad to be the tyrant of the court?"
Tooru hummed, letting out a small sigh as he interlocked pinkies with you.
"Volleyball is a team sport."
He looked left then right, then left again before crossing the street with you.
"You can't win alone, so if you act like that then it is pretty bad."
You hummed, kicking a random stone in your path as you let go of Tooru's pinky.
"A team is made up of six... not one."

Shiratorizawa v Senseki
4 - 2
Goto huffed, shifting under the ball before bumping it up to Nakamoto. Nakamoto hummed, glancing around as she took in everyone's spots.
You were coming in from the right, Mori down the middle and Osaki on the left.
Senseki's blockers eyed Nakamoto, slightly stepping right when she tilt her hands back.
"Left!"
Osaki jumped up, watching as the ball glided over to her before spiking it down, hitting the blockers fingers before flying off court. The ref blew his whistle, giving Shiratorizawa the point as Osaki and Nakamoto cheered.
"Jealousy?"
Tooru hummed, lifting a shoulder as he adjusted the bag on his side. "I mean I guess you could call it that."
"Like how you feel with Tobio and Wakkun?"
"Wakkun? When'd that nickname start?" Tooru scoffed, crossing his arms as he pouted. You snickered, shrugging as you stuck your hands into your pocket. "Yesterday, it just sort of came out and Waka-san said he was okay with it."
Tooru scoffed once more, flinching when you pinched his side.
"Anyways." He cleared his throat, sticking his hands into his pockets as he looked ahead. "You know those two are basically prodigy's, right?"
"One could argue that you're one too, you know?"
"Yea right."
You shrugged, glancing up at him. His lips pressed together in a straight line, his eyebrows slightly furrowed together, his eyes narrowed, and his hands obviously clenched inside his pockets.
"I'm not a prodigy."
"Neither am I." You hummed, not missing the way that Tooru flinched, his features relaxing as he looked at you in confusion.
"Who told you that?"
"No one needs to tell me that for me to know, Nii-chan." You shrugged, pulling your scarf up as you ignored Tooru's conflicted gaze. "But that's okay you know?" You glanced at him, taking a hand out of your pocket to offer it to him. "We might not be prodigies but we sure as hell give them a run for their money."
