"Agh~"

You sighed, stretching your arms up as your body followed, humming in content once you felt the stretch hit all the right places.

"It feels good to be king." You smirked, turning around so that you met Minegishi's eye before snickering. "Better luck next time, Minami-chan~"

She glared back at you, switching out with Itachiyama as your teammates ignored your banter, already accustomed to it.

Training camp was uneventful, per usual, but you were happy to get past the first grueling days of straight conditioning. Especially after all the push-ups Kojima made you do.

"That's time!" Kojima called out, glancing at you when you let out an inhumane screech.

"We just won, coach! How's it gonna be time when we didn't even get to play a game as king!"

Kojima glanced over at you, putting down his whistle as he crossed his arms.

"Well you're welcome to stay and play with yourself as the rest of us go to lunch." He turned to the others, raising his voice as he caught their attention again. "Stretch whatever you need to then head over to the cafeteria!"

You grumbled under your breath, sitting down on the floor before harshly bending your upper body over your legs.

You heard small snickers at your side as Okada softly sat down next to you, mimicking your stretch.

"Now don't be so down, Y/N-chan~" She cooed, glancing at the glare you gave her. "I heard we're having a buffet of seafood today with, get this, fugu."

Your eyes lit up at the mention of the fish, quickly trying to hide your excitement once more as you hummed.

"Well I guess this wasn't an all bad decision then." You hummed, bending one leg before reaching for the end of your foot as you continued stretching.

Okada lightly giggled, ruffling your hair before scooting back to look over the first years and help them if need be.

"You know." Minegishi said, stretching her arms up as you sipped on your apple juice.

"No, I don't." You said, looking away when she turned to glare at you.

"We haven't been spending a lot of time with the guys this year, like we did last year."

"What happened to your independence, Minegishi?" You asked, smirking back at her as she held in her curses.

"This is why you're benched O-i-ka-wa." She said, oddly enunciating your name before turning away and angrily stomping towards her team already warming up.

"I'm only benched cuz Rai-san sucks at saisho wa guu, janken pon!" You called after her, flinching when a familiar voice screeched your name from the gym doors.

"Oikawa!"

You looked over at Okada quickly stomping over to you with a bright red face, Mori standing a couple steps behind as she held in her snickers.

"We promised not to bring up my saisho skills again!"

You slowly nodded, harshly slurping the last of your apple juice before crushing the box in your hand.

"My pride was at stake, Rai-san." You said with a dead serious expression.

"So was mine?!" Okada yelled, lowering her voice when Kojima looked over with a raised brow.

She looked back at you, flinching at the pose you were giving her.

Your cheeks were slightly puffed up as you tilt your head in a small angle. You held two closed fists next to your cheeks to imitate the "kawaii cat pose" Okada loved.
