You tapped your foot, slowly biting your lower lip as you looked at the trees morph into city buildings.

"Why're you so nervous?" Tooru asked, throwing a hand over the back of your seat and leaning to the side to look at you. "You even brought gifts, you'll be fine."

You nodded, too nervous to throw a snarky remark as he sighed. He set his hand on the side of your head, pulling you against his shoulder and calming you down. It worked, until your phone vibrated and you were sitting up again, tapping your foot as you read over your messages.

"Motoya-kun said they're waiting for us at the train station."

Tooru hummed, throwing his backpack back on as he reached for one of the fruit bags you had brought as gifts.

The train slowed to a stop, both of you standing up as you fixed your bags.

"Let's go."

You hummed, trailing behind other passengers as you exited the train, sighing as you stretched your legs, immediately looking around for Komori.

You walked for a bit, reaching the stairs as a voice called out to you.

"Y/N!"

You both turned around, breathing out as you gave Komori a small smile, walking over as he met you halfway.

"Hello hello." He smiled, taking the fruit bags from both of you as he nodded you towards the car.

He opened the trunk, putting your bags in as he helped put your other bags in before closing it. He hummed, turning to smile at you as he waved at Tooru.

"You must be Oikawa Tooru-san, I'm Komori Motoya, pleasure to meet you."

Your brother hummed, smiling back as he answered.

"You can call me Tooru, it might get confusing with Bunny and I."

"You can call me Motoya too Tooru-san, since once we get home we'll all be Komori's." He snickered, Tooru humming as they smiled at each other.

"Ah, come on, let's get going." Komori hummed, opening the door as he ushered you both in, hopping in later as he told the driver to get going.

The driver he later introduced as his father's secretary.

The ride over was pretty uneventful, a faint J-pop tune played in the background as he made small talk.

Answering your questions and clearing your doubts. He explained that it was a birthday party for one of their cousins, though it was going to be held at Sakusa's house since their house was bigger and their parents had offered to host it.

He explained how when they were together they tended to talk more in Spanish rather than Japanese for the sake of not losing their native tongue.

He also apologized in advance incase of any inappropriate joke they'd make or unintentional diss.

He didn't talk much about his direct family, and you didn't have the time to ask once you pulled up to his house.

Just as he had said, it was similar to yours. Put simply, it was a traditional style mansion, zen gardens and small fountains greeting you at the entrance as you walked up the steps leading to the front doors. Waving at his mother when she saw you all coming up from the tea room, rushing across the house to meet you at the front door.
