Breathe in...

And breathe out.

You threw the ball up, running after it before planting your feet on the ground. You whipped your arms forward just as your feet left the ground, giving an extra boost to your jump as you extended your arm, ready to spike.

You brought your hand up to the ball, seconds away from hitting it as you made eye contact with Minegishi from across the court, making out the words she was mouthing.

"Dookie"

You pressed your lips together, holding in your snickers as you spiked the ball. Sending it ricocheting to the other side of the court.

You landed just as it had hit the ground, watching it roll away after it had hit dangerously close to the end line.

"Out~" Minegishi sang, everyone else turning to look up at the screen monitor.

"In." Coach Horie corrected her, the ball hitting mere centimeters inside of the court before bouncing out.

You grinned, looking over at Minegishi as you stuck your tongue out and pulled the skin under your eye. Something you had found yourself doing a lot recently.

"Then that does it. Blue team wins." Coach Horie hummed, everyone dispersing their own ways to go get a drink of water.

You stretched your arms up as you walked back to the place you had left your water bottle at, slightly tumbling forward when a familiar weight clinged to your shoulders.

"Ah~ nice game Oikawa."

You hummed, wiggling out of Minegishi's hold as you grabbed your bottle, handing her hers.

"Dookie." You said, turning to her as she smiled devilishly. "Really?"

She shrugged, taking a quick drink of her water before turning around and looking across at the players mingling between each other, the coaches talking to an unfamiliar coach with the japan shirt.

"I bet we're playing scrimmages with the guys next." Minegishi said, turning towards you as she set her water down.

"What makes you say that?" You asked, grabbing one of the towels they handed out before practice to wipe your face and neck.

Minegishi shrugged, grabbing her own towel as she pat her face dry. "Just a hunch."

Minegishi seemed to trust her gut a lot, and rightfully so, since after the unfamiliar coach had left, coach Horie gathered everyone up again. She split the group in half before humming and walking over to the boys' gyms, the boys visibly confused as they saw the girls walk in.

Some of the girls suddenly straightened up, walking with a pep in their step as Minegishi and you snickered in the back.

Coach Horie split the already split group in half once more, leaving four small groups as who you'd assume to be the boys' head coach did the same.

You were separated from Minegishi yet again, leaving you snickering as she walked away with a pout.

"They're grouping us by prefectures." She mouthed.

You nodded, looking around as you saw the boys joining the girls from the same prefectures.

You yawned, looking at the girls in your group as you listed out their prefectures in your head.
