Help Me! BakuKami

Chapter 17

Kami's POV

I am currently sitting hugging my boyfriend in front of his mom but I don't care. I really don't want to be without Bakugo right now especially after the bad nightmare I had earlier. I am hugging Bakugo as he is saying somethings in advance before he starts telling him mom about what is going on. I really don't want to sit and have to bare this anymore right now but I am going to have to deal with it right now because it's just the situation that I am in and Bakugo is here to help me through it and I know that Ms. Bakugo is going to there to help me as well through this.

"B-B-Bakugo?" I asked before he started the story.

"Yes, Kami? What do you need?" Bakugo say looking at me.

"D-D-Do you think that you can get me a sweatshirt or blanket for me?" I asked while still hugging Katsuki.

"Sure Kami. As long as you are comfortable I will be glad to get you one." Kats says back to me.

"T-T-Thanks, Kats." I said quietly. Bakugo got up and ran to his room to get something. He comes back down with what looks like to be one of his sweatshirts. I was glad that he grabbed one of his because I knew that I would calm down a bit wearing one of his sweatshirts rather than having a blanket knowing that Bakugo's scent would be in the sweatshirt.

Bakugo's POV

I had grabbed the sweatshirt for Kami and I helped him put it on. He smiled once he had it on. I was glad to see him a little bit happy since the incident yesterday. I just wanted to protect this little one to the best of my abilities and no one is going to be able to stop me from protecting him.

I sat back down in my spot and Kami sat right back into my lap hugging me. I was absolutely happy that Kami was comfortable enough to sit in my lap and trust me with telling my mom all of this stuff even though he could have not told me but I am really glad he did so that way I could help him.

"Alright so here we go. I am going to tell you what happened while I was out even though you already know all of that from last night. I had gone to a field just outside of my house to blow off some steam. I had finished doing that and was on my way home and that was when I saw someone slowing limping towards me. I could tell they were having problems and I could tell they were about to fall so I ran to grab them. When I got to that person I had realized that it was Kaminari. I had seen bruises and cuts all over him. When I caught him he passed out, so what I did was run to my house to take care of his cuts. He was light so I knew that he hadn't eaten for a while. So that was when I brought Kami home last night and we ended up cleaning up his cuts and bruises that he had." I could feel Kami shaking in my arms so I stopped for a bit to calm him down some.

"You okay Kami?" I asked.

"Y-Y-Yeah. Just keep going. I will be okay as long as you are here with me." Kami said squeezing me some more into a bigger hug. I give him a hug back in return.

"Back to the story." I said looking up at my mom.

"He ended up waking up early this morning and started getting a bit nervous cause he didn't know where he was. After I got to him and calmed him down, he was wanting to leave because he thought that he was causing me too much problem but I was able to stop him from leaving because he wasn't causing me any problems. After a while of calming him down some more I asked him what was going on and how he got all of the marks and bruises. At first, he wouldn't tell me but then he ended up tell me what happened and what has been happening. So the next part is what he told me this morning. He said all of this started when he was six. One day he had walked his normal path to get home. He didn't live far from the school so it only took him about five minutes to get home. When he got home he was going to his parents to tell them how his day was at school. But the next thing he knew that happened was that he was getting punched and slapped and he ended up on the ground. He thought he had done something wrong so he asked his parents what he did and they said he didn't do anything and that is was normal. He went on the rest of the night like normal. It continued for the next two years and the beatings got worse and worse by his parents. They had continued to say it was normal. By the age of ten he had moved into a new house that had a basement that had one room that was soundproof. One day when he got home his parents took him to that soundproof room for his daily afternoon beating. When he had walked into there, there were chains on the wall. They had hung him onto that wall for his afternoon beating and he was there for hours. The next year his parents ended up getting whips and knives to use in his daily beatings. Since then things have been getting worse for him. Yesterday his parents had beat him for three hours straight. After his beating, he had gotten a text from Jiro last night saying that they were through and there was a picture of her and Momo kissing. He couldn't take the pain anymore and so he decided to run from. He wasn't paying much attention to where he was going and that was when I found him. He said that the beating have been going on for ten year now and he couldn't take it anymore. And that is all that has happened and all that he told me." I finished. I squeezed Kami because he was shaking and I could feel my shirt getting wet. "You're okay Kami. I have you."

"Thanks, Kats." Kami said quietly.

I looked at my mom and I see a shocked expression on her face. I could tell that she didn't know how serious the situation was and it was probably a lot of information to take in at one time but at least she got the idea of the situation. "So now you know the situation and why Mr. Aizawa called you to come and pick us up from school and why we are going to be getting a week off." I said to mom. All she could do was shake her head in agreement.

"I am going to take Kami upstairs and go to bed. I will give you some time to think about what I said about what is going on and I will talk to you when I get up tomorrow." I said to my mom as I stood up with Kami in my arms.

"Aright. I will see you tomorrow Bakugo." Mom said kindly to me as I started walking. Before I made it to the stairs, Kami said something to my mom.

"Thank you for taking me in during my hard time and listening to my story, Ms. Bakugo." Kami said kindly and softly to my mom.

"You're Welcome, Denki. You can stay here as long as you would like to stay away from your parents. You are like a second son to me so anytime you need something then you can come over." Mom said back smiling.

"Goodnight, Ms. Bakugo." Kami said.

"Goodnight, Kaminari. You can call me, Mitsuki. Goodnight, Katsuki." Mom said.

"Goodnight, Mom." I said as I went upstairs with Kami leaning up against me with his head on my chest. Once I got upstairs, I gently put Kami in bed, turned on the lamp on my nightstand, turned off the overhead light, and got in bed right next to Kami. I pulled Kami closer to me. He put his head next to my chest. I gave him a kiss on his forehead and smiles.

"I love you Kami." I said.

"I love you too Kats." Kami said back.

Soon after that, me and Kami both fell asleep.
