I. From the ground up: Jae Yi's Empathy

"Why would I listen to you?" Jae Yi said after Tae Young left the room.

She decided to roam around the mansion. The floor where she is empty. There's a stairs in the center and a chandelier hanging in the ceiling.

She walks past a door connecting at the back of the mansion when she suddenly saw Tae Young's back. It looks like he's talking to someone.

Her curiosity kicks in again and she walks near them to listen. She finds a wall and hide behind it while listening to their conversation.

"Wah. Look at you, you're all grown up Jang Tae Young. I'm glad I see you again."

She peek to see who's talking and saw a man older than Tae Young.

"Come on. I need your help. We need money."

"I told you I don't want to have any connection with you. I already gave you money the last time we met, isn't that enough?!?"

She saw how Tae Young clenched his fist as he talks.

"No, it's not enough. That last time was five years ago before you left and hide with your money."

"You've already built this."

"And I heard you own the 'One for the road' bars out there. I'm sure you have a lot of money, now give me some."

Jae Yi scoffs "What the hell? Is Tae Young looks like a bank?"

"I won't tolerate you this time. I gave you money five years ago for you to built a good life and change. I can't believe you're still the same."

Jae Yi's wondering who's that man. "Is he his father?" she thought

She's about to go back inside as she saw the staffs staring at her. She stopped on her tracks when she heard Tae Young speak again.

She got surprised how he talked about his sufferings.

"I also did all the things you've wanted me to do! I sell drugs and I hurt people even if I don't want to."

"I even kill someone just to protect you!"

Jae Yi put her hand on her mouth as she heard his statement. She also heard how his voice cracked while saying it.

The next thing she saw was Tae Young on the ground. The man just punched his face.

She's about to run to help him when someone tugged her arms. "What?" she asked
