Chresanto's P.O.V

I gripped on the metal bat as he gripped on the chain he had in his hand.

Me: ready to get this over with ?

Rodney: more ready than ever

Me: baby girl close your eye's this is gonna get a little messy

I said as i gripped the metal bat. He swung the chain and me and i back up.

Me: how about we fight like fucking men minus these chains and bats shit

I said dropping the bat

Rodney: deal

He smirked throwing his chained to the side. I squared up and he did the same. We walked around in circles until i got tired and swung at him hitting him in the face.

Rodney: oooo cheap shot

Me: nigga no where near

I said smirking. He swung and i ducked punching him in the stomach then his face. He groaned and i continued punching him. I went for a punch again until he caught me off guard and hit me in the jaw. I spit out the blood and got back up.

Veah: KICK HIS ASS DADDY !

I laughed and swung at him as he ducked. He swung back and i ducked catching him in the eye. He stumbled back holding his face. Im no where near done. I smirked as he got back up smirking back at me. He quickly grabbed his chain before i had any reaction i was hit in the face with it. I yelled as a sting came across my fave. It hurt to even touch it. I felt another whip go to my back.

Rodney: not so tough now huh ?

Veah: DADDY !

He continued to hit my with the metal chain as i screamed in pain. This is worse than the metal bat. I looked up seeing the bat grabbing it hitting him in the ribs with it. He fell to the ground in pain. Im pretty sure i heard a crack. I smirked and hit him repeatedly in the chest with the bat. I was no near done with him. I stood him up sitting him in a metal chair. Before he had time to get up i picked up a knife and threw it at his stomach. He yelled in so much pain but i enjoyed it. I went up to him kicking the knife in further. Hearing his screams filled me with some much joy. I smiled grabbing the chain whipping him in the face multiple times. I hit him until he was covered in blood.

Rodney: hope you can go get Jacob in time

He smirked. I was tired of his talking. I was mad at this point. I grabbed the metal bat and hit him upside the head until his head was completely deflated. After i finished i stood back breathing heavy but smiling at my work. I looked around for a button or something to help open the box Veah was on. I grabbed the keys out of Rodney's pocket hitting every button on this one key pad thing. One opened Veah's box. Once it fully opened she jumped out running towards me. I smiled picking her up swinging her around.

Me: ok oo were going to go look for Jacob ok. I want you to grab that chain. If you see me attach someone you do the same ok ?

Veah: ok

I handed her the chain and gripped the bat in my hand. I grabbed her free hand and we walked out of the room down the hallway looking for Jacob. We turned corners looked in doors and no Jacob. We came to one door and it was locked.

Me: Veah get back

She did as told and i stepped back kicking the door down. I looked around and no Jacob. I sighed and looked out the window my eyes poppe doit of my head. I picked Veah up running outside as fast as i could. Once i reached outside i put Veah down.

Me: Veah you gotta keep up with daddy ok ?

Veah: ok !

She yelled. I nodded and i started running full speed to the man that was... Burying Jacob. I looked back seeing Veah not to far behind em. Damn she fast. I snuck up behind the guy hitting him in the head with the bat. I looked in the ground seeing a big box. I crouched down opening it. Once i saw Jacob. I picked him up taking him out the box. I took the sock out his mouth and untied his hands. A tear rolled down my face as i looked at him. I felt for a pulse and there was one. I watched him open his eyes and hug me tightly. He cried on my shoulder.

Me: its ok.... Shhhh its done... All of it

I stood up walking back in the house with Jacob and Veah both by my side. I made it to the living room and saw Craig and Jeff.

Craig: Jacob were so sorry. He threatened our family's Jay.

Jacob: i understand im not mad

Me: well i am

Jeff: Chres man we-

Me: im just fucking wit yall im not mad. I understand how important it is to protect your family.

I said picking up Veah. I kissed her cheek and pecked jacob's lips.

Craig: im still Jealous

We laughed and i heard police sirens.

Jeff: oh yea i called the police.

I gulped and walked outside trying not get noticed as much.

Officer: are they inside ?

Jacob: yes

Me Jacob and Veah walked to the car. I tried to stay as hidden as possible. As we made it to the car i strapped Veah in and Jacob got in the passenger seat.

Officer: excuse me sir arent you Chresanto August ?

Me: yes

Officer: Chresanto August your under arrest for drug possession, illegal weapons, and 3 counts of murder.

I nodded and knew it was all over for me. I looked in the car got in and kissed both Jacob and Veah's heads.

Me: im sorry

Jacob: about what ?

I didnt answer i just got out and ran as fast as my feet could carry me. I could hear all the gun shot going off behind me but i didnt care i kept running. I turned the corner hopping the gate. I could hear the officers not to far behind. A car pulled up infront of me and i smiled and hopped in and we sped off.

Jacob: were all in trouble now

He smiled and i did the same kissing his cheek.

Jacob: were to ?

Me: Hawaii baby

He smiled and i turned up the music. I'll never get caught no matter what.
