Shooting my Shot (Bucky One-shots)

Hey all! As promised, I'm back with more info about my new story! 

I'm sure you've all seen the sneak peeks I've posted at the bottom of a few chapters. I will post one chapter every Friday, starting on April 23rd!

So one week, guys! One week until you meet Belle and learn her story and her unusual relationship with Bucky. 

Here's our brief summary:

THE NURSE, THE ASSASSIN, AND THE LONE SURVIVOR

They met as young teenagers and somehow never parted ways. Neither of them expected for one dance to turn to something more. After leaving home and starting school, life takes a dramatic and heartbreaking turn. How could she have been so stupid to think she was special enough for someone like him?

Belle sets off and joins the army as a nurse. When a new group of soldiers come in a few months later, she doesn't expect to see his face. There's still the same tension between them. The same tension that never left, even after being apart for years.

She doesn't know if she'll ever be able to trust, let alone love him, again.

All she wanted was a normal life. A life where she wasn't used as a weapon to where she wasn't expected to fight for everything she wanted. The war ended years ago. They won the war, but there's always more to fight for.

"This doesn't have to end in a fight, Buck."

"It always ends in a fight."

They won, but at what cost? She's alone in this world. Alone in a world she hardly knows. The future is almost too much for her. Tipping her to the edge, making her fall, breaking her more than she ever thought was possible.

"What's on your mind, Colonel?" 

"I want to go back until he's awake. I can't do this without him. He's everything to me. After everything I've done to him, I don't deserve him. He deserves better."

So there you have it! It will eventually follow the movies, but, of course, I have my own twists to throw in. I don't own the movies. Only Belle, her friends, and any other characters who may appear. 

I have many twists planned, so don't say I didn't warn you. 

Also, some parts may get dark. I don't want to hurt anyone, but I feel like the dark parts of Belle's life are necessary. They give her fears and hopes and dreams, so they make her seem real. I will put a warning in the first line of the chapter if something does get dark and too graphic.

If this was a movie, it would be either M for Mature, or maybe even rated R, just because of how dark it can get. But don't worry, that's not until part 2!

Did I forget to mention? It's a three part story! Meaning it's going to be a long one!

Whew! That was a lot! I'm almost done, I swear.

I've also got a few ideas for more stories to put in this book, too. I think it would be interesting to put some classic fairy tales in here, like Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, etc. I'm even thinking about a Romeo and Juliet like piece. 

I obviously don't take credit for those ideas, but I think it would be interesting to twist them to find the Marvel Universe. 

So far, I'm thinking Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Tangled, and (maybe) Romeo and Juliet. I'm also going to start doing more of the soulmate prompts, too, so if you have any requests, my messages and the comments are always open!
