There was a lot on your mind. You were trying to keep up with your missions, both solo and team, and trying to keep track of what you were supposed to do where and when.

It completely slipped your mind that today was your two-year anniversary with Bucky. It was lunchtime when you finally looked at the calendar. You gasped. "Oh, shit!"

The team looked at you, confused. Bucky frowned, then looked to the calendar.

"Oh no."

"Buck?" Steve asked, confused. "What's wrong?"

"I can't believe I forgot!" He got up. "Oh god."

"What?" Steve looked to the calendar. "Oh."

You planned out a nice picnic for you and Bucky. He always loved picnics. You didn't know that he was doing the same thing.

It was just before sunset when Bucky knocked at your door. He walked in.

"Wait, no!" You jumped up. "Bucky!"

"What are you- oh." He looked at the arrangement of items on the bedroom floor.

A blanket, a basket, snack food, and a bottle of champagne.

"I forgot." You whispered. "I'm sorry."

"Me too." He said softly. "I was going to take you out tonight. Just me and you. We'd go out to eat in the park."

"Oh." You looked down.

"Pack it up. Take it with. We're going out to the park. Come on, dollface. Meet me in the kitchen in ten minutes." He walked off.

You packed up your stuff and changed into leggings and a red and black plaid top. You put on a pair of sandals and walked to kitchen where Bucky waited.

"You look beautiful." He whispered, kissing your cheek.

Your cheeks heated up. "You don't look too bad yourself."

Bucky wore a pair of dark jeans and his red flannel. He kissed your forehead and pulled you into him.

"I love you." He whispered, leaning down to kiss your lips.

"I know." You giggled. "I love you too."

You and Bucky had a nice picnic in the park. After you finished eating, he told you to come with him. He held the basket in one hand and your hand in the other. You both wandered the park and watched the sunset.

"I love you." He murmured for what must've been the hundredth time that night.

You, having heard that phrase so many times, answered, "I love me too."

Bucky pouted.

You placed a hand on his cheek and turned him to face you. You stood on your tip toes and pressed your lips to his.

"I love you too, you annoying bastard."

"Hey!"
