"Four!" I shriek as he picks me up by my waist.

I was just in a very intense conversation with Christina about this Monday. We were talking about going to the park and she was arguing over what outfit would be considered casual or picnic worthy.

Sometimes I wonder what that girl thinks about all day. Is it always about fashion?

Four chuckles as he lays down with me on top of him. He lifts me up as I bend my legs. I feel myself about to face plant onto his face when he pushes my waist upwards.

I place my hands on both sides of his head to avoid falling. He smirks and stares into my eyes.

I smile back as I lean down to kiss him. I swing my legs back and fourth as he kisses back.

"Four!" I hear Christina whine. "I was talking to her!"

I laugh and I lift my head up to allow Four to respond. He pouts when I pull away.

I giggle when he waves Christina off and I hear her scoff and some sand being pushed away and out of her path as she walks away towards the snack table.

"She's not wrong, Four. She was talking to me." I clarify.

He shrugs. "Would you have rather had that conversation or this?" He asks, gesturing to himself, moving his hands up and down his torso with a smirk.

I hit him on his arm as I laugh. He chuckles and pulls me down for another kiss.

It doesn't last long because, someone interrupts us. "Four? Is that you?" It's a preppy girl's voice.

I pull away from the kiss and look at the beautiful green eyed brunette that stands before me. I look back at Four with a confused look.

He lifts me up and sets me on the sand as he stands up himself.

"Oh my gosh! It is you!" The girl exclaims as she eagerly jumps onto him, clinging to his neck.

I cross my arms over my chest as he just stands there speechless.

"Samantha?" He questions.

"Samantha?" I mutter under my breath.

"Four! Oh, I've missed you so much!" She exclaims. She gives him a kiss on the cheek. My eyes widen and my eyebrows rise as I watch her action.

I cough to get their attention.

"Yeah, um, hi there. I'm Tris, Four's girlfriend." I say, slightly annoyed.

Who does she think she is? Thinking that she can just walk up here and jump on my boyfriend and, kiss my boyfriend?

"Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there!" She apologizes.

Oh really? She didn't see me kissing my boyfriend right in front of her? Even though I just met this girl, she doesn't give me a good vibe.

"Of course you didn't." I mumble.

"Samantha! How've you been? Wow, you look great!" Four gushes.

Seriously? I'm right here! Last time I checked, I was the one that came with him to this party. Not this, Samantha chick.

I roll my eyes and I walk off towards the big rock near the ocean water. I sit down with my chin on my one bent knee, letting my other one slightly hang off of the edge of the rock.

I watch the amazing surfers ride along the medium sized waves. It's calming.

Suddenly, I feel a tap on my shoulder. It turns out to be Christina.

"Hey." She says, sitting down next to me on the rock.

"Hi." I respond, with no emotion in my voice.

"Where's Four?" She asks.

I point towards his direction. "With Samantha." I say. Her name feels like venom on my tongue.

"I thought he brought you?" She questions.

"So did I." I say. "I guess not." I sigh.

"Oh." Is all she says.

I nod my head, not wanting to continue with this subject.

"Can you surf?" She asks, getting my hint to change the subject.

"Probably not." I answer.

"Probably?"

I shrug. "I've never tried it."

She nods.

The rest of our conversation's about how much that she's been dying to go shopping this week. Even though, she just went shopping last week.

I start to walk off towards the direction of my house. I didn't come here to get stuck watching everyone have fun and enjoy the party while I was alone on a rock by the water. Plus, my ride was busy partying.

I stick my hands in my pockets as I start my walk along the beach towards my house.

Who even is that Samantha? An ex-girlfriend maybe? I hope not. Maybe she's his cousin. Or, possibly, his long lost sister.
