I was right.

I walk down the hall to my locker in my, "Too Cool For School." outfit.

I grab my books and head down towards my first class of the day.

Gripping my binder closer to my chest, I walk past Four.

Don't notice me, don't notice me.

"Hey Tris! Wait up!" He shouts.

Dang it.

I speed up my pace as I hear his footsteps get closer.

"Tris!"

Ignore him Tris.

"Tris!"

I stop walking. He walks in front of me with a concerned look in his eyes.

"What?" I ask.

"Everything okay? You seem to be avoiding me." He asks.

"Why don't you ask Samantha?" I spit.

He looks confused for a second. Then, he sighs.

"Tris, there's nothing to worry about. She's just my ex." Well, turns out I was right.

"You ask me to go to the party with you, but you have fun dancing with your ex. Let that sink in." I say.

I push past him to get to my class on time.

Yup. I was right.
