It had been a minute since Lia broke up with me and she has still been off and on. We would text all day long one day and then the next she would act like she didn't want to be bothered with me. I continued paying her bills and these past few times I payed her bills the funds were returned to my account, the biggest bill being her rent.

"She is driving me fuckin' crazy!" I shouted to no one in particular.
"You got yo self in this mess my nigga" Chubbs said walking into the kitchen.
"No thanks to your ass!"
"Hey! I said have some fun, not shove your tongue down another bitches throat. You still talkin' to her?"
"Talkin' to who?"
"Nigga you know who dont play dumb"
"Fuck, maybe a little. Here and there," I sighed.
Chubbs just shook his head, "How you gone talk to Charlie while tryin' to get back into Lia's good graces."
"I don't know man, Charlie is cool people and she ain't a bitch! She didn't know I had a girl when I was actin' up so I ain't gonna hold that shit over her head," I glared at him.
"Oh shit! You takin' up for her too, you really in some shit now. You still tryna invite Lia out here for your birthday?"
"Trying to, but she still acting funny," I said looking down at my phone reading through our recent conversation again.
"You inviting Charlie?" I looked up to see him staring at me. I was slow in response.
"Ah fuck man, Imma up security!" He said getting up and walking out of the kitchen. He was mumbling something else but he was too distant for me to hear.

"So Aub invited me to Toronto for his birthday," I told Aris as she was cutting into her steak. We hadn't had time to spend with one another in a while and we decided to grab dinner at a steak house so we could catch up.
"You have got to be kiddin', this Nigga really has some nerve. He puts you through some shit then has the nerve to assume you would want to go and spend time with his ass!"
"He said I could bring a plus one so I decided that if I chose to go I would bring you. It's supposed to be all expenses paid and ..."
She choked a bit on a potato wedge and cleared her throat, "Well shit bitch, you should have started with that! I've been wanting to go on vacay!"
"Yeah but wouldn't you want to go to an island or someplace warm? Toronto cant be much different than Detroit!" I laughed at her quick change of heart.
"Bitch you said ALL... EXPENSES... PAID! You don't turn that shit down, plus he probably tryna make up for some shit so he gonna be showin' out. Since I'm the bestie n'all he might throw a Chanel bag or two my way just so I can persuade you n'shit to givin' him another chance!"
"You want to go just to see if you get a Chanel bag? You're stupid." I shook my head and took a sip of my wine.
"Say's the bitch who already has one! We goin' to Toroto ho!!!" She waved one hand in the air as the other held onto her glass of wine.
"Could you be any louder?" I laughed as people turned and looked in our direction, slightly embarrassed.
"Don't test me!" She popped a steak chunk in her mouth.
