"So this unit in particular is three bedrooms located in the Capital Park Historic District of downtown Detroit. The open floor plan allows residents to add their own personal touches to the unit and it also conveniently offers in unit laundry. Also, note the large windows that allow for picturesque views of the cityscape and skylines. Both the kitchen and bathrooms boast marble finishes suited for high living. I will give you two a moment to browse the unit and feel free to come to me with any questions."

We nodded at the realtor and Aubrey waved his hand, giving me permission to check things out on my own while he returned a phone call he declined earlier. I hurried myself over to the window, the view was stunning. Especially since the sun was beginning to set. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. The bathroom even had a luxurious tub! The only other time I had seen something so grand was when I stayed with Aubrey at his home but I think I loved this place more. It was a little more lush than I am into but it was just the right size for us, not too big but also not too small.

I felt a pair of arms wrap around me as I stared at the view once more, this time from the master suite, "so what's the verdict baby?", he whispered softly in my ear tickling it.

I giggled, "baby I love it, I think it's perfect, the location, this view," I turned in his arms to face him, "what do you think?" I asked eagerly.

"Yeah, I think it's cool. I am more concerned about you, if you love it we can pull the trigger."

"I want you to li-"

He cut me off with a kiss, "would you like to pull the trigger?" He asked more sternly

I nodded shyly, blushing.

"Okay then." He kissed my forehead, "I will be right back."

Aubrey left me standing in what hopefully would be our future bedroom. A room we actually shared together as a couple. It would be hard to describe the feeling I was having. Happiness wasn't the word that could cover it. It was a feeling far beyond that.

"Lia baby."

I turned at the sound of his voice, a bright smile on my face.

"Come sign some papers for me baby." He smiled back

"Okay!" I scurried across the room and into the kitchen where the realtor stood holding a pen preparing to hand it to me.

""Hey, Aub?" I asked as I looked over the paperwork.

"Yes babygirl?"

"Baby this doesn't look like a lease agreement." I was so confused.

"I know. That's because I am buying the condo for you." He chuckled

"But...I don't understand?"

He stared into my eyes, "Your main concern has always been stability. Whether that has been in relationships or whatever. I know its something you crave. I don't want you to worry about where you rest your head at night. I want to believe we will make this work and I know I need to earn your trust back. I just wanted to offer stability where I know I can guarantee it. This condo is in your name and by tomorrow night the full asking price will be paid outright. It's yours, you own it."

He was so straight faced waiting for me to reply. I was so shocked and moved by his words that I began to cry, my tears falling from my face and landing on the paperwork.

I walked around the kitchen island and hugged Aubrey as tightly as I could. He held me close resting his head on top of mine.

"Thank you Aubrey...idk what else to say...I love you!" I sobbed into chest wetting his shirt.
