After the possibly the most subtle proposal ever, things went surprisingly well for Andy and Robert.
They kept the engagement quiet for a bit, it proving harder than expected considering Luna wanted to tell anybody that would listen that her mommy and daddy were going to get married.
So they tried to keep her out of the station as much as possible, which also proved harder than expected.
Word finally got out one day when Luna was up in the beanery with Travis and Vic. The rest of the team was in the barn when Andy heard Vic starting to yell her name as she ran down the stairs.
"You got engaged and didn't tell me?!"
Of course everyone else heard and had questions. Andy and Robert did their best to answer them all, but once everyone got fired up throwing questions at them it was hard to hear everyone and they could only answer one of the million questions at a time.
They got married almost three months later. Nothing big, just went to the courthouse with Pruitt, Vic, Lucas, and Luna in attendance.
Maya also stepped down from captain after she decided to move to Italy with Carina. Lucas had final say in 19's new captain, so Andy finally got her rightful job as captain of 19, the job she worked so hard for.
•••
It's now been six months since the wedding, nearly five months since Andy became captain, Luna was turning six soon, starting grade one before long as well.
Everything was going so well that they forgot about all the bad times. The forgot about the fighting, the lies... Everything. It was all forgotten.
It was going so well that Andy really lost all concept of time and didn't even realize that she was late.
Like, really, really late.
So, she went to Ben, freaking out because she didn't know if Robert wanted another baby, and if he did would he want one this soon?
Everything happened so fast between them that they never really got to discuss having more children one day. They were content at the moment with just Luna, that's where all their focus was.
"Andy, take the test, and come back if you need to talk about whatever the outcome is." Ben had told her while she tried not to freak out about the whole situation.
She took the test, waited, the timer on her phone went off... And she waited some more, scared to look at the result.
If it was negative, she wouldn't tell Robert... But then that would be going against the no secrets no lies rule... But she also didn't want to freak him out about nothing when she told him she took a pregnancy test.
And yet she couldn't bring herself to look at it.
And then she did...
It was positive.
And she wasn't upset about it, more so surprised than anything.
She wasn't scared like she was all those years ago with Luna. She wasn't alone this time, she had Robert.
And maybe another baby wouldn't be so bad.
She waited until after shift the next morning to tell him. They dropped Luna off at school, then headed home.
Andy was full of nerves the whole drive, not the bad kind of nerves, more like the excited kind of nerves.
Well, until the thought of him not being happy about it crossed her mind.
Then she panicked.
Then she realized they were at home and it was now or never.
So as they were putting away their things from work, she just blurted it out.
"I'm pregnant..."
Robert turned around to look at her with wide eyes. He looked like he was trying to figure out if he was hearing things or if his mind was playing games on him.
"Come again?" He asked, walking towards Andy, she was fiddling with her hands. It was something Robert picked up about her over time, she did that when she was nervous, so he grabbed her hands and took them in his own.
"I took a test yesterday and it was positive... I hadn't even realized I was late and then Warren told me to take a test so I did and now I'm pregnant but I'm not entirely sure it may just be a false-"
He cut her off, gently placing his lips on hers to silence her. She was never one to ramble, unless she was one of two things:
Worked up.
Or nervous.
She was both right now.
"We're having another baby." Robert smiled after he pulled away.
"Might be," Andy corrected with a small laugh. "Don't know yet."
"What did the test say, hmm?" He asked, smiling.
"Pregnant..."
"Then we're having another baby."
"But it could be a false positive, we don't know for sure yet." Andy tried to reason with him, failing miserably.
"Was it last time?" He asked, cocking his head to the side.
"No..."
"Okay then," He stated, the smile never once leaving his face. "We're having another baby."
Andy just looked up at him, the biggest smile on her face.
They told Luna a few days later, she was just a bit hesitant at first, but came around to the idea of having a baby brother or sister after Andy and Robert explained that just because another baby was going to be around that they didn't love her any less.
And eight and a half months later, they welcomed baby Ophelia Grace Sullivan into the family.
Two girls.
Robert was ecstatic.
Andy really wanted a boy this time, but she was just as content with her new baby girl.
That just meant they'd have to have another one, she was the one to decide that.
A few months after Ophelia was born, they legally changed Luna's name from Luna Marie Herrera to Luna Marie Sullivan. Andy even hyphenated her name. She was officially Andy Herrera-Sullivan.
They had all they ever wanted and more.
It was just them.
And they were taking on the world.
