A million thoughts raced around my now confused brain.
" Why do you want me killed?! Wh- wh- what do you want from me!?" I screamed at the now grinning, Billy Fisher.
" Now that, is a secret. When you get all the stuff, I will tell you everything, and what this has to do with you." He walked over to me and put his grimy hand on my quaking shoulder. I slapped his hand away angrily.
I stood up and grabbed Billy's chunky neck and I socked him right in the gut. He flew back flustered and outraged.
He showed no fear as he clutched the shotgun from his back pocket and pointed it at my head.
" Do you realize if you lay one finger on me, I can kill you in an instant." He shouted.
" But you need me. So you can't kill me." I wasn't afraid to die now.
He shook his head and walked over to the west side of the small, boring room.
He pressed his palm on one square on the wall and a secret door slid right below him. He strides over to me and tugged at my arm. I restrained from his strong grip.
" Go." He pointed at the door.
I scooted across the cement and jumped into the hole.
I landed onto a giant water bed which just popped to break my fall. I was drenched in water and shook myself out and observed the room.
The room was large. It had two large balconies and another queen sized water bed. The covers were a blood red and so were the curtains. The floor was hard wood and facing me, was the door, the EXIT!
I sprinted to the white, wooden door and tugged at the handle.
Locked.
I panicked as I ran to the left balcony and looked out to the streets.
It was a one story house.
I climbed over the metal bars and jumped two feet down to finally touch ground again. I sighed as I walked down the empty street and cornered the block to my house. Sat by the front door steps as I cried.
I held my hands up to my eyes so no one noticed, even though it looked pretty obvious.
I checked my front pockets for my phone.
Not there.
I checked my back pockets.
BINGO.
I slipped it out of its designated place and opened it up.
Text Conversation:
Me: Mom, where r u?
Mom: Oh thank goodness you're okay! Oh, and I'm at the house.
Me: ok I'll tell you all about what happened when I get home.
Mom: I'll be waiting. :)
I slipped my phone back into my pocket and rung the doorbell of my home.
Mom answered.
I threw my arms around her and I felt her tears drip down on the back of my neck.
"I'm so glad you're home!" She sobbed.
" Me too."
