Chapter 6

We were about halfway into the movie, me and Walker were sitting on one couch, Alex and Gavin on the other. I was pretty tired despite doing pretty much nothing all day.

I let out a soft tired yawn.

"Movies that boring huh?" Walker remarked with an annoying smirk on his face.

"Shut up, I'm just tired," I snapped at him telling only the honest truth. Walker just laughed and continued watching the movie.

Without realizing it, I began to examine him. As much as I hate to admit it, he was cute, like really cute. His eyes were the prettiest shade of green. His hair fits him so well too.

"Uh Capri, I know I'm cute but can you stop staring at me?" Walker said remarking my behavior.

What was wrong with me? Was I really staring at him for that long? I needed to think of an excuse and fast.

"Sorry your just so ugly I couldn't manage to look away." I lied smoothly.

"Yeah right" He scoffed, his eyes twinkling in amusement.

I didn't even bother to respond and continued to watch the movie. Or so I thought.

I woke up in my bed , what felt like a few hours later. Why was I in my bed? Weren't we just watching Shazam in my living room?

I picked up my phone to check the time. 9:30!? It was morning already! Right beside where my phone was charging I couldn't help but notice a note with my name on it.

I opened the note to read it. It read:

"Hey Capri it's Walker here and I just wanted to let you know that you slept on my shoulder last night and I tried to wake you up but you didn't. I didn't want to just leave you there so I tucked you in and left. That's why you're still wearing the same clothes as last night. From: Yours's Truly ;)"

I looked down to see what I was wearing. He was right I was still in yesterday's clothes. *Brringg* I got a text from Gavin.

Garvin Magnets: Hey Capri you up?

Me: Yeah, why?

Garvin Magnets: I was just wondering if you wanted to meet me and some others at the park

Me: Is 3 okay?

Garvin Magnets: Sure

Me: Okay ill be there at around three cya garv

Garvin Magnets: Cya

I threw on a flowery dress and some sandals and got a ride to the park.

I got there a few minutes early and spotted Alex in a corner of the park. I assumed she would be with the others and I made my way over to them.

When I got closer I heard them playing "Tequila" by Dan + Shay and started walking faster. I love this song!

When I got closer to them I saw Avery and Walker sitting together.

Avery gave me a funny look and scooched closer to him. What was her problem? In a addition to them there were, Gavin of course, and a few others I didn't recognize.

"Hey guys," I called out to no one in particular.

"Oh hey, Capri!" Alex replied. I love how she's always so sweet.

"Glad you got a little extra sleep." Walker said with a teasing smirk.

"Oh shut up." I said while excessively rolling my eyes. I took a seat beside Alex. I saw her trying to occasionally steal glances at something or someone. She was looking at, Darnell.

"Ooh." I remarked teasing her behavior.

"Is it that obvious?" She asked with concern in her gaze. I just nodded my head trying not to laugh. I focused my attention back on the others when I saw . . . Him.
