FearWe all know what that means.
Some people feel it more than others.
I am some people, some people is I.

We were in line to ride the biggest roller-coaster in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was apparently sitting with Walker, how fun. We were the next ones on. I was petrified, and Walker was laughing at me, for being well petrified. You couldn't really blame me though, the ride was terrifying.
"Come on Ella its not that bad." Walker said gesturing to the monstrosity before our very eyes. I gave him a deadpan look saying, 'Oh its that bad.'
"Its our turn." Walker cheered, grabbing my hand and helping me board the ride. As annoying as he was this cute little gesture was very gentleman like. We held hands until Alex looked back over her shoulder, she was in the seat in front of ours, and gave me a teasing smile. And as if it were by instinct I jolted my hand away from his. He looked up to meet my eyes, a confused look on his face.
"What was that for?" He asked furrowing his brows. Thankfully the ride started before I could answer. The ride really wasn't as bad as I had previously thought, for me at least. Walker however, was having trouble walking straight and throwing up. It was quite comical considering how brave he had been pre-death-scare. Me and Alex were now enjoying shaved ice at some picnic table. Walker and his mom then decided to join us.
"Come on Walker, it wasn't that bad." I said mocking his previous statement. He gave me an annoyed look. I almost felt bad for him, it was like being mean to a puppy.
"Look what I got..." Walker started, pulling out a helmet from under the table.
"Nice helmet." I complimented, taking a bite of shaved ice.

"Did you have to get it specially made?" I asked gesturing to his helmet with my spoon.
"Uh, no its pretty standard." He said examining the helmet.
"Oh I just assumed someone with an ego as large as your, would have to get it fitted."
(Zero chill reference😏)

Alex burst out laughing, and I joined her amused at myself.
"Oh, would you like to try it on?" He said giving me the helmet.
"Ha-Ha." I said eating my shaved ice.
"I'm gonna go get some napkins." Alex said after spilling some of her ice.
"I'll go with you." Their mom said getting up from the table. Walker then scooted closer to me.
"Can I ask you something?" He started.
"Sure." I said looking up at him.
"Who was that guy the other day?"
There was a long silence.
"Someone."
"Ella if you wanna tell me I'm here for you, and if you don't I'm not gonna force you."
"No it's fine, I'll tell you. His name's Liam, we broke up a few months ago, it was really toxic."
Walker wrapped a comforting arm around my shoulder. "Well he's gone now."
"Yeah." I said smiling.
"You'll find someone better, if you haven't already."
Before I thought it over, the sentence left my lips. "I think I have."
My eyes ventured down to his lips. We leaned in, and for the first time his soft lips touched mine. Every nerve in my body shot up as our lips moved against each others. He was a surprisingly good kisser. We kissed for a few more seconds before I pulled away.
A mere 20 seconds later a voice called from behind us. "Fancy seeing you here Walkie." A familiar voice said. I quickly recognized it as Avery's. How wonderfully amazing.
"Avery.." Walker started before trailing off, trying hard to find the right words. "How nice to see you." He said faking every word.
"What are you doing here?" I snapped before I could stop myself.
"I could ask you the same thing." Avery said before sliding into the seat beside Walker. Predictable.
"Oh I'm just here because Walker invited me." I said planting a smirk on my face. A small frown came over her before she quickly fixed herself.
A face that I never wanted to see again came up behind our unexpected guest.
"Hey babe." The devil himself smirked, handing a cup of shaved ice down to Walker's not-so-secret admirer.
