The truth behind building 6

While, Ethan, Lizzie, Zion, and I were on patrol, we passed a building that was blocked off.

When we were done, we walked back to the meeting room, put our flashlights away, and headed back to our room. We decided to get some rest.
Tomorrow, Zion and I planned on telling Jay what we had found. But we weren't sure when and how to tell him, and if and how he would react.

I couldn't sleep so I just sat there on the couch staring at nothing in particular.

"Can't sleep?" Lizzie asked.

"No," I said.

"Me neither, to be honest, I'm quite scared... two people have been murdered. I didn't really like Lila but I still was upset we're only human after all. But When you guys came back and told us Jaden had died I didn't know what to say, Jaden's my brother and We were really close..." she said.

"He was?" I said.

"Yeah," She said.

"Whoever is behind this will pay," She said.

"I am suspecting Jay he always seems to disappear when something like this happens..." I whispered.

"You have a valid point," Lizzie agreed. "But we'll need to dig deeper before we accuse him," Lizzie said. "We don't have enough evidence," she said.

"Lizzie I found this downstairs it's Jaden's pocket knife, you should have it," I said.

Scrape!! Suddenly there was a loud Scraping noise outside.

"Aaaah" Lizzie and I yelled.

"What happened?" Zion asked.

"Did yo-"

SCRAPE!!!! It was even louder this time.

"Ahh" Lizzie and I jumped.

"Um what is that???" Zion asked.

"We don't know," Lizzie and I said.

"We're about to find out," Zion said. He got up out of bed and came over to us. It kinda sounded like a body being dragged across the floor. We walked out and saw a trail of blood.

"Augh!!" I screamed. I looked at Zion and Lizzie with wide eyes.

"I'm getting Jay," Lizzie said and then looked at me.

"Okay be careful," I said.

"I will" she walked into our room and then walked out a few minutes later with a pale face.

"He's not in there and neither is Eugene

"Wait what???" I said.

"Eugene!!" I yelled.

"Eugene!!!" Lizzie yelled.

"Jay!!!" Zion yelled.

"Help!" A faint yell rang through the hallways.

I ran down the hallway and came to the only room that it could have come from. There in the corner sitting against the wall was Eugene. He was covered in blood.

"What the hell happened?" Zion asked.

"Eugene tell us who did this," I said.

"It was Jay," Eugene whispered.

"He's weak," Zion said.

"We have to help him," I said. I frantically looked around for something.

"Guys help me, why aren't you helping me?" I said.

I looked back at them and they were staring at Eugene. Then I figured out why. He was gone. I just fell to the floor sobbing. It's another person killed. I wasn't close with Lila but in the short time I knew Eugene, he wasn't as rude as he acted. I mean he literally just died in front of me.... the second person I've seen. Suddenly, Ethan, Summer, Scarlett, and Levi came running in.
They stopped immediately when they saw me crying and Zion and Lizzie sitting by Eugene's lifeless body.
