The betrayal

That morning we all woke up and decided to make a plan.

"So what's the plan?" Lizzie asked.

"No one is going anywhere," Jay said.

"Hey! We'll be safer there than here" I said.

"I said no one is going anywhere!" Jay said then walked out.

"We'll leave while he's gone guys grab your stuff let's go," Ethan said. We all grabbed our stuff and headed to the main floor. When we reached the main floor suddenly the entire school was filled with really, really, really loud music. There was a loud roaring sound coming from outside. Zombies were coming. What Jay had said in the storage room flashed through my mind.

"Zombies are sensitive to loud noises"
Could he? No, he wouldn't... but he did!

"Who's doing that?!" Lizzie yelled.

"Jays trying to get us all killed!!!" I yelled.

"Let's get out of here!" We turned around to run. That's when a huge horde of zombies broke through a door nearby. No, I can't die not like this I don't want to die! I panicked. I looked around to try and find an exit. Ethan started leading everyone back towards the basement. There was an emergency exit.

"Hey there's a bunker over there wouldn't that be safer?!" Zion asked.

"No," Ethan said. Zion didn't listen; he turned and ran toward the bunker.

"Zion what are you doing?!" I yelled.

"The entire school Is surrounded by zombies, so going out there isn't smart, the bunker is hidden and the door is unbreakable so I don't know why Ethan wouldn't just go there," he said.

"And?" I asked.

"I'm going there, wanna come with me?" He asked.
"well.....I guess I don't want to die, do you think they'll be okay?" I asked.

"I can't say for sure but there is one- They're coming!" He said. I ran over to him.

"Let's go," I said. I looked back at everyone. Lizzie waved with a sad look on her face.

"Come on," Zion said. He just picked me up and ran into the bunker. He set me down and shut the door. He turned the lever on the door and it locked shut with a click.

"I can walk you know," I said.

"Well you were taking forever" He complained. I glared at him. He laughed. He turned the light off. The only light that was good to see was a little lamp that he turned on. Good thing there isn't a window in here. We waited for probably hours. Finally, things got quiet. The music had stopped and so had the constant roar of the zombies. I loaded my gun and Zion loaded his. He grabbed his baseball bat just in case.

He opened the door and we quietly walked out there were dead zombies everywhere. We walked to the emergency exit. It was wide open. He peeked out and then looked at me with wide eyes.

"It's best we don't go that way," He said.

"Why?" I demanded. He looked at me. I finally understood.

"They're... they're de-'' I couldn't finish my sentence. We turned around and headed upstairs. It was eerily quiet. We headed upstairs. I looked around the corner. And what I saw made me want to cry but I couldn't not now.

I quickly looked away and just stared at the wall across from me. A tear slipped down my cheek but I wiped it away.

"What's wrong?" Zion asked me. I didn't say anything. He moved me out of the way and looked. We decided to go out another way. We exited the school and ran into the woods. We ran into a few Zombies but otherwise, there was nothing. It was so strange seeing almost all the zombies that had attacked the school dead. There was no way they could have done it all by themselves. Someone had to have helped them. But in the end, I don't think anyone lived.
