The cold summer rain poured down on the castle, it drummed against the windows as the heavy wind made a faint whistle. Wooyoung sat on his bed, nose buried in a book to disract himself. Unfortunately the captivating chapters had distracted him a little too well.

It had been a while since Yeosang, Ryujin, and thankfully, Seonghwa, had left. Yeosang hadn't sent a letter in weeks, when he found out about what happened he was furious. He left Seonghwa, of course, but he seemed pretty agitated with Wooyoung too. He had made it seem like it was all the prince's fault. Which it wasn't, but it made Wooyoung believe it was.

He had lost his best friend, and the boy he was in love with all because of Seonghwa. Ryujin was the only one who believed him, and strangely enough, Yunho.

Though Wooyoung still wouldn't consider them friends, Yunho was finally warming up to him. Occasionally, the servant would sneak him letters to send to Mingi, and the prince would give him the ones he received. He had taught himself how to read and write, but occasionally Wooyoung would help him out.

The prince was back to where he started before he met San. No, he was even lower than that. Now he had nothing, and on top of that he still had to get married, and be oriented. It was like his life was slipping slowly through his fingers, and being caught by his parents.

Everything felt so dark, and quiet.

San wasn't doing amazing either, but he was good at hiding it. Every once in a while, the random feeling of missing Wooyoung would fill him, but the rollercoaster of emotions was too much for him. Besides, their relationship would be impossible to maintain. The prince was going to be married on paper, and if anybody found out about them, San would be charged, perhaps even killed, it just was not a very good idea.

So, he tried his hardest to forget everything that happened, to just be his servant again and nothing more. Much easier said than done.

"For the last time! There is nothing anymore, what happened with Seonghwa proved that there wasn't anything between us in the first place. Wooyoung used me."

It didn't help that Yunho and the Prince had gotten closer, because now Yunho just dug his nose even deeper into San's business.

"San have you even tried listening to his side of the story?"

"I don't need to! He admitted it to my face. He doesn't care about anybody but himself."

"San, I don't think that's fair." Hongjoong cut in. San veered over to the boy with a stern glare.

"Stay out of this!"

"Are you a child!" Yunho stood abruptly from the cot, and towered over San, making him step back slightly. "Why are you putting this all on Wooyoung, you really just let Seonghwa get away with what he did?"
