They had been caught in a situation impossible to get out of. Everyone has seen it, everybody knew now.
San promptly pulled away when he heard the crowd gasp. A gross feeling rumbled in his stomach, it felt almost like regret. This was his fault, right? He approached Wooyoung in the first place. "Why did you stop?" Wooyoung whispered, pulling San back.
"They all saw us. They still can."The boy gulped, looking down as he considered his options. There weren't many from here. He turned over to his parents, who shockingly weren't doing anything, they just stood there staring in pure horror.
Truthfully they couldn't do anything about it. It made him feel sort of good. Wooyoung flipped San back to him, fighting the urge to kiss him again, just to get a reaction. "We have to leave."
"Leave? To where?"
"Anywhere." He squeezed San's bicep tighter and tighter with each word.San nodded and they both took off, earning another shocked gasp from the crowd. They swiftly ran off the platform, pushing their way through all of the people who just stared at them.
The crowd got louder while they ran off, yelling curses at the two as they passed. Wooyoung couldn't help but laugh.
San allowed himself to be drug all the way inside to a guest bedroom in the east wing, where he was shut and locked in.
"Wooy-"
"That was crazy, what are we going to do? The whole village knows now." The boy rambled, not giving San a chance to finish his thought. "Woo-"
"We have to leave! I'm sure there will be a mob any minute now." He was now standing at the window, anxiously clutching the drapes. "Wooyoung please-"
"Oh my god San what are we going to do? I'm ruined.""Wooyoung!" San shouted, finally shutting the boy up, he grabbed either of Wooyoung's shoulders shaking him slightly "Why did you kiss me?"
"What do you mean?"
"Out there, when you kissed me? Why did you do it? If you knew what was going to happen, We could've waited."
"I don't know.."
"What does that mean?"
"I got lost in the moment, and I'm king aren't I? I figured I could do whatever."San sighed and let his head fall, there was definitely no easy way out of this one "And because I wanted to." He shrugged, pushing San's hands off of his shoulders "If you didn't want this then why did you come up to me?"
"Do not try and flip the situation on me, I didn't expect you to do that."
"So this is all my fault?"
"Stop that. It's both of our faults.""Wooyoung!" Their conversation was interrupted—probably for the better—by a familiar voice echoing through the hall. They looked at eachother, then the door before approaching it and cracking it just enough to peek out. "Hello?" San called out.
Yunho turned the corner, followed by Jongho, and Mingi. Wooyoung waved the group over, then relocked them in the room. "I was looking all around for you! What the hell happened."
"I think it's clear what happened." Wooyoung retorted "Where is Yeosang?"
"Him and Ryujin are trying their hardest to calm things down.""So what do you do now?" Mingi's question brought a bone chilling silence to the room. Nobody had an answer.
