"hey, i- do you know who tommy likes?" noah asks and i raise my eyebrow.

"mmno i dont, why?" i ask curiously.

"i just uhh- wait did you leave him in a call with ember?" he asks and i furrow my brows.

"well yeah- you called me," i state.

"yeah but- oh god, theyre going to be talking all night and then shes going to like him and-"

"do you like em?" i ask suddenly, putting two and two together.

"what no- i- i just met her how could i like her?" noah asks awkwardly making me laugh.

"well your being awfully protective of her," i say laughing a bit.

"im not being protective toby," noah states.

"okay then noah, do you want me to ask tommy who he likes?" i ask, sighing.

"please," noah says and i roll my eyes at him.

"your dumb," i say leaving the call cutting him off before he can say anything.

"hello?" i hear tommy say once he answers my call.

"hi tommyyyyy," i reply trying to sound as casual as possible.

"what wrong?" he asks surprisingly kindly.

"well you were talking about a girl today and never told me, who?" i question.

"well i just met her like two days ago," tommy says and i raise a brow.

"so em?" i say seeing if hell deny it.

"maybe? i dont know, ive known her for a little, i cant like someone ive known for two days," he says and i nod along.

"yeah yeah youve got a point, are you going to try anything?" i ask, questioning him further.

"i dont know? why? you like her too?" he asks and my eyes widen.

"no! no no no, i dont like em, she seems really kind but i want to be her friend and thats all," i say honestly.

"okay toby," he laughs quietly. an awkward silence comes over us which is pretty rare, "does ranboo like ember?"

"im not sure, im still trying to find out," i explain and hear him hum.

"okay im leaving now, bye tom," i say.

"bye tubs," tommy says and i leave the call.

after i leave the call i ring ranboo to let him know what he wanted.

"noah," i state.

"hey toby, took you long enough," noah answes and i scrunch my face.

"it took like ten minutes, and if your going to complain dont ask," i snap at him.

"well what happened?" he asks and i sigh.

"mm well first you tell me, do you like her?" i say, wanting something before i say anything.

"i already answered this toby i d-"

"seriously noah. stop," i sigh, getting frustrated.

"toby i- i dont know what to say, honestly, how should i know i- i just dont know," he sighs, his voice shaking.

"im sorry," i breath, noticing him getting more anxious.

"just give me some time and ill let you know," he says.

"im pretty sure he likes her," i say suddenly.

"hm?"

"tommy, he says he thinks so but theyve just met so he doesnt really know," i explain.

"oh," is all noah says and i furrow my brows.

"oh?"

"i- um i have to go its pretty late and i need to eat, bye tee," he says and i sigh.

"bye noah," i say and hear him leave the call.

this isnt going to end well.
