i open my eyes and reach over to my ringing phone.
"hello?" i say groggily.
"hey em, how are you?" wilbur spoke through my phone.
"im fine, whats up?" i ask, looking at the time.
"i was just going to leave brighton, maybe take a little roadtrip if you wanted to come," he says i yawn.
"with niki?" i question.
"i mean i was just planning us two, but if you want niki to come too she can," he replys and i can hear him get up and start moving.
"ooooh yay, where?" i ask happily.
"i was thinking we go north, stop at Newcastle," he answers and i nod.
"upon Tyne?" i question further "okay im going to let niki know," i respond rubbing my eyes.
"no need, ive already talked to her," he says, confidence dripping in his voice, making me laugh.
"okay, when do you want to go?"
"i was thinking in a few hours, just to get out of the house"
"okay, and how long?"
"maybe three, four nights? i dont know its up to you."
"four, i love trips," i say clapping my hands together saying a little 'yay' of excitement.
wilbur laughs on the other line and we say our goodbyes and hang up, a few minutes later i take a shower and then start packing.

"sorry im a bit late," wilbur says walking into the apartment.
"its okay, anyways, your only two minutes late," i laugh.
"you ready?" he asks with a grin on his face.
"yes!" i say doing a little dance in excitement.
we say bye to niki and wilbur drags my suitcase to the elevator and down to the first floor.
I get seated in his car and plug my phone to the aux putting on my playlist.
i look through my notifications and see that the groupchat had a few notifications.
