The Next Day..

"Hey" Pidge shyly smiled as she popped up behind Shiro, her hand lifted for a still wave as Shiro looked around for her.

"I'm behind you, I know I'm short but I'm not that tiny" Pidge sighed as she lowered her hand as Shiro quickly turned around to greet her.

"Sorry about that, It's just a little crazy. I feel like I'm the new kid all over again and I guess I am but the academy is ... well, it's just how it is. I knew it be busy but getting my barring's and trying to see if someone actually talking to me, taking a jab at me or just talking to their own friends as they pass. I've lost my baring's a little" Shiro replied with a guilty smile as he didn't mean to keep his back to her but wasn't sure if it was someone passing him or not.

"Nah, it's cool. I guess you'll be having a tough day as it's your first day here. I mean, you're handling it much better then I did" Pidge mumbled back with a slight shrug, stepping to the side a little more to stop herself from being bumped into.

"I think I'm doing much better then some of the rest. Hunk and Romelle are terrified and having been clinging to each other or to Lance. Lance is a nervous mess, he's been extra friendly that's close to creepy in hopes to make new friends or make truces with other students. Keith ... he's just complaining none stop while also glaring at everyone who isn't me. It's ... been an interesting morning so far" Shiro answered as he rubbed the back of his neck, glancing around as he noticed the halls start to empty.

"You're not late, it's break time. The busy crowd was everyone trying to rush out of the school building to meet up with friends or head out to the place they hang out outside of class. It sucks to hear about your friends though, sorry to hear they're all struggling a little. But I'm sure they'll end up fine, once they've gotten use to the academy and how it runs, they'll have no problem at all. Trust me" Pidge muttered back with a small smile, rubbing her arm a little as she glanced to the side while Shiro just stared at her.

"Thank you, I'm sure we'll all be just fine as well. It's just getting use to a new place, everyone can be a little funny or off at first. But um, do you think you could show me how to reach the main building. I know this is the school building with all the classrooms but I need to get to the main building that holds the entrance .. where the front desk is" Shiro awkwardly spoke, feeling a bit embarrassed over not knowing how to get from one building to the other.

"Sure, just follow me. I've got to meet Matt there anyway, we're both waiting for a letter to arrive but it's one we don't want to risk Lotor or anyone else seeing. Private letter" Pidge answered with a friendly smile and walked round Shiro to lead the way.

"Should you be telling me about waiting for a private letter, I am a new "pup" after all" Shiro asked unsure as Pidge shrug.

"You'll hear me ask about it anyway once we reach the front desk. I'm just saying that it's a private letter so you don't ask about it later" Pidge replied and Shiro gave an understanding nod as he walked beside her.

"I didn't see you in fitness study or maths, I know there's two groups of classes,  Class A and Class B but Lance mentioned you weren't in Class B either while me and Keith never saw you in Class A" Shiro commented as he glanced to the girl tensed ever so slightly.
