Chapter Nine

Chapter 9: Date Night?

 

Arizona some how turned my make up free face into one of beauty, I was never one to be overly fond of wearing make up, If I want people to know me I want them to know me for me, not for some facade. But even with that opinion, I had to emit, I looked fucking great.

Jayse will be here in 25 minutes, and each minute counting down to that moment is eating at my nerves. Sure I have gone on dates before but those were to the movies with Finn, we never did anything other than that. It was repetitive so I got fed up with it and asked him to take me somewhere else for once and we ended up breaking up,

The movies once again. I know that he can afford more, but why are we always going to movies?! Why can't we go to a restaurant for actual food instead of popcorn, pop, candy, and if I'm lucky McDonalds? This is the 15th movie in the past 2 months and I'm really beginning to hate them.

"Finn?" I say once we parked into the parking space outside the theatre.

"Yeah?" He replied, his attention on me.

"Can we not go to the movies this time? Can we please go to an actual restaurant, and not here or McDonalds?" I beg.

"Why?! Is this not good enough for you? Are you too high class for this?"

"It's not that you inconsiderate ass! We always are going to the damn movies and McDonalds! Sure I like them both but really? Every single date?" I exploded.

"Come on," He said dragging out the n, "a movie that I just wanted to see came out!"

"Even when we go to the movies we go to the ones YOU want. Not what I want. Have you ever considered that I don't give a flying fuck about the stupid ass horror movies you seem to fantasize over?!"

"Whatever you fucking drama queen, It always has to be about you."

"You know thats not fucking true you selfesh bastard. Everything in the fucking relationship has been about you. I SACRIFICE SO FUCKING MUCH."

"Shut up Athena."

"No. Your just scared of the truth."

"Shut UP!"

"NO!"

"GOD WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SUCH A FUCKING C***! WE ARE OVER!" He yelled, he also knew he had made a mistake immediately and paled.

Now, I can take being called a bitch, but a c***? No, I can't. No fucking man has the right to call a woman that, no fucking woman has the right to call another woman that!

I just raised my eyebrow at him.

"NO! I didn't mean that!"

My response was just me unbuckling my seatbelt and getting out of the car. Thank god I wore my black skinny jeans other wise I wouldn't have been able to call Eli and would have to walk home.

Eli picked up after 2 rings.

"Athena? Whats wrong." He said panicking.

It was cute how my brother knew.

"How did you know something was wrong?" I asked him.

"Your my twin sister, plus I know you are supposed to be on a date with Finn."

"He called me the C word."

"He what?!" He yelled.

"He also broke up with me after he called me that."

"HE WHAT?!!" Eli exploded.

"Mind not killing him and come get me?"

"On my way sis."

A week later Finn realized that calling me that was a HUGE mistake, no girl would go near him, my brothers football buddies were pushing him into lockers, and his biggest loss was his popularity title. He realized that without me he would never be popular, I only learned this after I moved here. But within my innocence I didn't realize that he was using me, so when he came back to me begging that he changed and was super regret full I forgave him. My biggest question was why did he break up with me in the middle of lunch in front of everyone?

This date will be my first non movie date and I am NERVOUS, I have never done this kind of thing before. The doorbell interrupted my thoughts, he's early...

I suddenly heard yelling between someone and Eli, and not the happy kind that Eli and Jayse usually do. Shooting a confused look to Arizona, I quickly left my room and went to the stairs.

"-ck out of here, your not wanted!" I heard Eli yell.

The other person just simply laughed, I think I know that laugh from somewhere. It doesn't sound like Jayse's. What the hell?

"Fuck off, I don't want you here, my parents definitely don't want you here, and my SISTER doesn't want you here either. So why don't you go back to hell, Finn before I call the cops."
