Chapter Six

Chapter 6: More awkward than usual

After Jayse said those few words made me panic. I don't want to talk about this Jayse! I want to forget this fucking even happened!! But before I could say anything I was cut off,

"I know your probably really mad at me for what I did but I have one question, who was the freak on friday?" Jayse asked almost pleading.

"That was my asshole ex-boyfriend from Calgary." I sighed annoyed this was happening.

"Ah, okay but why was he here and implying that we were together? Because I know he wasn't talking about you and Eli."

Ugh when will the break be over?

"Because my annoying ass friend Bree from Calgary heard you and Eli shouting and I had to tell her because she was pissing me off. The next day she was joking that you and I were, like, yeah and 'IT' was walking by and heard and flipped."

Holy crap was this getting annoying to repeat over and over.

"Mhm. So how do you want to go about this, because 3/4 of the school already probably knows."

Fuck.

"I don't know Jayse, okay. I have barely been in this place for a month and so far I have had more drama here than I had in my whole time in Calgary."

Just as Jayse was about to say something the bell rang signaling for math to start. This has to be the happiest that I have been for math to start. Looking around the room I tried to find Arizona, I ended up finding her across the room giving me confused looks.

'Lunch' I said. Hoping that she could lip read.

She could.

I was still receiving weird glances from people in the hall ways. In history Jayse and Arizona kept trying to talk to me, I got annoyed VERY fast. After history was finished I grabbed my things and almost ran out of the door. I got to computer science in record time and put my beats on so nobody would talk to me. It worked until Eli came in. I swear hes an idiot, I have explained time and time again that once my headphones were on I was dead to the world.

I heard the bell ring through my beats so I took them off to listen to our teacher,

"Okay class!" Mr Grimes shouted, "Today is the dead line for the partner projects so would the partner with the USB please come up here and hand them in?"

I got up and walked down the aisle and gave Mr. Grimes the USB and walked back up to my seat only to find Jayse in Eli's spot. I rolled my eyes.

"Why are you so eager to talk about this?" I ask him.

"Why arn't you?" He questioned.

"I like to put things under the rug rather than deal with them."

"Ah."

"You never answered my question."

"I know."

"Then answer it."

"Fine, what was it again?" He asked faking confusion. Stupid It boy.

I sighed in annoyance, " Why are you so eager to talk about this?"

"About what?"

"Oh my god just answer the fucking question!" I whisper shouted.

He laughed at my irritation, "Okay fine I'll answer," FINALLY! "I want to know how you want to go about this, pretend to stay together or 'break-up'."
