Chapter 4: Football
So far the past 3 days I have managed to survive, I have made friends the 'Popular' group again. GREAT. I have also managed to not have an encounter with Jayse, except at my fucking house. Eli keeps going on and on about how the football team is doing (He made it, big whoop.) and how Jayse might make him assistant Captain. I have learned that when he starts the sentance, "So in football..." to pretend that I have homework and go to my room.
Which is what just happened, for the 3rd time since he made the team, which is also why I'm doing my homework right now. Stupid Eli. Suddenly a knock on my door snaps me out of my thoughts, it ended up beening Eli who opened the door, walked into my room, and sat on my bed waiting for me. Fuck. After a few minutes I slowly turn around on my EXTREMELY comfortable office chair and look at him.
"Why have you been ignoring me?" It never seems to amaze me how much we are alike, especially with our being straight to the point.
"What do you mean?" I fake being confused.
"Cut the bull shit Athena," Shit he saw through my lie, " why do you always leave the room when I talk about football?"
Just as I was about to say something he cut me off, "OH MY GOD I KNOW WHY!" He suddenly exclaims, "You don't like me talking about football because you like Jayse!"
I burst out laughing, I ended up laughing so hard I fell out of my chair with a thump and into a ball in which I only laughed harder. "Y-ou think I l-like him?" I managed to get out before I started laughing more.
"So you don't like him?" Eli asks, which may I add, he was extremely confused. I only laughed harder at his confusion.
After a couple of minutes I finally can breathe some what normally. "Oh my god. I haven't laughed that hard in SOO long. Fuck." I manage to say when getting up from the floor, "Where the fuck did you get that absurd idea from?"
"Well he is the Captain and like the 'main guy' in the school, and you roll your eyes when ever I talk about him."
"You are delusional my sweet innocent brother," I say, patting his back, "Oh and I despise him. I refuse to hate him because unfortunately there's a thin line between love and hate. I have learned that already." I say with a sigh.
I wish my friends from Calgary were here, especially my bestfriend Bree.

I ended up FaceTiming Bree for 3 hours after my homework, where I had told her about LA so far.
"SEND ME A PICTURE OF HIM!" She explained when I decribed Jayse to her.
"Her we'll go on his Facebook wall and I'll show you him, I don't have a picture of him, nor do I want one." I quickly got up from my laying position on my bed, and went to my iMac on my desk. While I waited for my iMac to turn on I set my iPhone to the back camera so that it was facing my screen. When Facebook opened I went to type his name In the bar but only got as far as Jayse , "Um Bree," I say to my iPhone, "we have a slight bump."
"What?"
"I don't know his last name..."
She laughed at me, "Do you have anybody from your new school as a friend?"
"Yeah..."
"Then go to their friends and see if hes on there."
"Your a genius!"
"I know." I rolled my eyes, she was soo not modest.
Opening Arizona's profile I quickly go into her friends, in search for Jayse for Bree, Clicking on the name Jayse Ashford, his profile popped up.
