BACKSTORY▪️ We know little about Odell other than he was best friends with Liam Sawyers, and his parents were close with the Sawyers since they were invited to one of their elegant parties. We also know that his family resides in Illinois, and his parents hate Tony Stark. However, Odell had looked up to the billionaire and how Tony was his role model.
In 2014 when he and his parents had attended the Sawyers' party in Paris, he and Francesca had gone out to look at the beautiful view. That was the night they had been abducted by HYDRA guards, brought to Manchester to be apart of Hunter Ivanov's secret project.
When he and Francesca had been brainwashed, HYDRA had separated them, but created their bionics to be linked together. He had saw Francesca escaping while he was locked in a cell when he felt a tingle in the back of his neck and the palm of his hands had glowed a vibrant orange when she was near. He hadn't recognised her, but he had a feeling that they were going to be connected somehow.

He is learning to act more human, even though he is struggling since he only knows is to rely on his bionics. He is trying to remember who he used to be, but is having a difficult time due to the fact that Bradley and Kayrella don't know his identity before HYDRA.
