Aline pov

There was a disturbance at the general   Secretary entrance which I'd to attend to, apparently Ava Kavanah was here- Mr Rodriquez ex girlfriend demanding to talk to him. She was exchanging words loudly with the secretary who wouldn't allow her in creating a bit of attention at the company. Such an attention seeker!

"What's going on here?". I walked up to them.

"Thank goodness you're here Miss Mendes, she wouldn't leave". Mia answered a bit scared.

Ava raised her voice, "Why should I? I'm simply here to see Hector, is that a problem?!".

I'm honestly so glad Mr Rodriquez ended things with her few months ago, Ava has always been an attention seeker and a proud lady!...she never liked me from the onset complaining I'm too close with Mr Rodriquez! I've never been more happy when he broke up with her jealous ass!

"This is a workplace, I'll advise you not to raise your voice if you don't want to be kicked out Miss Kavanah". I informed with a sarcastic smile.

"I want to talk to your boss!".

"Do you've an appointment with him?", She didn't reply so I continued, "If you don't, please leave".

"You're so full of yourself Aline! You think you're somebody don't you?".

"Kick her out immediately". I ordered Mia and she went to do as she was told.

I rolled my eyes at Ava and walked away while she mumbled against me. It's so funny how Ava still thinks she has a chance with Mr Rodriquez, I know my boss- he's not interested in her anymore. It's over. He doesn't go back to his exes anyway.

Mr Rodriquez schedule is very tight today,he has so many conference meetings and speeches to be made. I knocked on his office door and entered when I heard a come in from him, I'm surprised to see Patricia with him.

Oh Patricia's here!
She isn't even scheduled...

I managed my work smile regardless, "Good morning Mr Rodriquez and to you too Miss Smith".

"Good morning Aline". Mr Rodriquez greeted back but didn't smile back.

Patricia responded with a snort. She didn't even spare me a glance.

"Lemme guess my schedule is tight today?".

I nodded. "Very very tight, in two minutes you will be having a meeting with the vice and then a speech format with the marketing team, you also have to check out the video formation that's been put out".

"I've sent the rest to your email". I finally completed professionally and Patricia snorted again.

What's her problem?

"I want you to reschedule my meeting with the vice so I can have time with Miss Smith". He said checking through his laptop.

What?

"You want me rescheduling?". I was startled.

"Didn't you hear him?". Patricia busted into our conversation, "Just do as you're told!".

Mr Rodriquez sighed and looked up at me, "Call the vice and tell him I'll be busy for a while and propose a reschedule, I can't dismiss Miss Smith".

He's going to rescheduled an appointment meeting for Patricia?
