Aline pov

I'm on my two hours lunch break!

I sat inside my favourite coffee house across the company seriously making some research about the new promo video we're about to do for another brand, I remember how Patricia wanted me out of her ad video......well she got what she wanted. Mr Rodriquez is working on it alone by himself, I brought out a notebook from my bag and listed some urgent materials we will be needing for the promo video I'm working on to be a success.

"Aline your favorite coffee". She placed it on my small rounded table.

I smiled at Sarah, a friend of mine who owns the coffee house and is very diligent at what she do as well.

"Thank you".

"You're always here working, that's why you don't have a man....", She hissed.

I laughed trying to act nonchalant, "I don't need a man, I'm fine on my own".  I lied.

"Oh please". She snorts and went back to her work.

Yes I want a man.....I want Hector Rodriquez in my life as my man...

But dark green eyes surprisingly stole my sleep last night..

Since the event yesterday, I couldn't stop thinking about Marquez and his green eyes.

It was so inviting and calling me to God knows where!

I sigh and drank my creamy expresso coffee that had a wonderful pattern imprinted in the milk. Oh Sarah with the talent..

My phone beeped with a call. I pressed the green button.

"Can you call me back? I'm kinda busy". I quickly said to Mandy.

"Miss Smith is here!".

"Okay and?".

"You're not bothered?".

"Why should I be? she's probably here to cross-check her work". I said sipping my coffee.

"I just saw her smile at Mr Rodriquez, like she's acting so nice towards him and......gosh! I think she just entered his office". I heard her gasp.

I stopped my work. Patricia isn't supposed to be in his office! she should be in the meeting room instead with a gap space! Why are they together in his office? an enclosed space.....

"Hello? Aline? Are you hearing me?".

"They're just working Mandy, her fashion show is near anyway". I dismiss the thought.

"Whatever, I just don't want Patricia to have eyes on Mr Rodriquez- you know the man you like",

"She's engaged though, I don't think she's like that".

I remembered her possessiveness with Marquez Fernandéz at the event. She seems obsessed with him.

"Umm have you seen Hector Rodriquez? he's a fine wine! I'm ready to break any engagement for him".

I laughed. "Bye Mandy".

She's such a loud mouth. I do understand where she's coming from though, Mandy's the only one in that company who knows about my feelings for Hector, she just don't want me getting hurt in the long run.

I quickly dismiss the horrible thought of Patricia and Hector together. He's single and Patricia is engaged plus they're the total opposite of each other; Hector Rodriquez is a very gentle, calm and matured man while Patricia is the total opposite. They don't fit at all, don't overthink Aline.....
