Patricia's pov

I stood at the door of my parents room eavesdropping on their conversation, they were in a hot heated argument as always.... it's been like this since I was a child. Always yelling and yelling at each other. Why can they never be peace?

I heard my mom yelled on top of her lungs. "So you're saying you want to divorce me?you want to turn your back on your family because of that woman Jenna?!!!".

"I told you countless times Jenna and I are no more, this is not even about her..... I'm not happy in this hell of a marriage Claudia,  I only stuck around because of my daughter!!". My dad yelled back.

"Stop pretending like you care about Patty! You've always wanted to be with Jenna and her daughter! Do you even know that Marquez has eyes on that Aline girl?!".

"What?!!!".

"Miss Patricia..", Our housekeeper Jane pulled me away from the room,

"You should get ready for the lunch and stop eavesdropping on your parents conversation, it won't do you any good". She advised warmly.

"This home is so.....broken". I didn't realize how croak my voice was, "I want you to get my stuffs out by tomorrow".

"What?but why?".

"I'll be moving out, this place is so sick I might die of depression".

The middle aged woman touched my cheeks, five years ago she has been hired as our housekeeper ever since Jenna and Aline left and since then she has treated me like her own daughter. It was my mom's rule to hire a middle aged woman and not a young one.

"What is it Jane?". I asked her when she won't stop starring at me.

"It's just I've never seen this other side of you before, you act so different and....mature".

I chuckled wearily and walked to my room unsure, I'm I really that different? This past few weeks have been really tough on me especially since I found out that Aline was with Marquez in Spain. I can't even talk to my mom about my feelings- she's so distant and spiteful and my dad is just not there.

Hector and Sophia were the only one keeping me warm, they really tried keeping me in check and preventing me from busting out most especially Hector.

Like a true friend and man he is, he doesn't hesitate to come to me whenever I needed him. He's done so much Marquez has never done, he makes me feel so loved and appreciated and I know it's because he loves me. He's confessed that to me many times.

I'm at my happiest when I'm with him.

He makes my day brighter.

I opened my drawer and took out few pictures of Marquez and Aline I was able to gather at their days in Spain, this had me sobbing every night.

"Can you trash these for me Jane?". I handed it to Jane.

"Of course I will if it makes you feel better".

When she left, I got ready for the lunch I'm to have with Marquez and my parents. I've a feeling my dad wants to talk about our marriage, this is the first time I'm seeing Marquez after the Spain trip...he didn't even bother informing me he's back.

I sat in front of my mirror and applied a little bit of makeup when my dad walked in, he held my shoulders and smiled proudly at me.

"You look pretty my dear".
