Class had just ended. As you were packing up to leave, you saw a certain salmon-haired boy with his head down on his desk. You walked over to Itadori's seat to find him sound asleep.
"Itadori, wake up." You poked his cheek.
He was still fast asleep.
"Itadorii, come on! Wake up!" You said a little bit louder.
Still no use.
"Mm, [name]." He mumbled.
"Hurry get up, let's go home already." You nudged him slightly.
"No.. I still have to tell you..something.." He muttered.
Was he sleep talking?
"What is it Yuuji?" You asked, going along with his unconscious words.
"I'm...nervous though." He muttered out, still sleep talking.
"It's okay, go ahead and tell me Yuuji." You smiled, brushing your hand through his soft hair.
"Okay.." He quietly snored.
"I..kinda..like you." He mumbled.
Your eyes widened in surprise. You had come to develop feelings for the boy but you had never thought that your feelings would be returned.
You smirked. "Oh really?"
"Wait! [name]...I messed up.." He muttered out.
"Huh?" You asked confused.
"I don't kinda like..you. I actually...really like you a lot.." He continued snoring.
"Then what do you like about me?" You smiled
"..Everything.." He mumbled.
A shade of red dust your cheeks. "C'mon wake up Yuuji!" You lightly pinched his cheeks.
He continued to snore.
"Geez.." You sighed in defeat.
"Then.. what if I told you I liked you too?" You asked quietly.
"Be..my girlfriend.." He mumbled as his eyes were still closed.
"Sure I will." You smiled at the sleeping boy. Placing your head down as you faced him, seeing his soft features up close.
"If you're my girlfriend..., can..I get..a kiss now.."
"What's the magic word?" You asked.
"..please, pretty please?"
"Okay." You smiled, placing a small kiss on his cheek.
"Yay..." He said, smiling.
You laughed at his behavior, but the both of you had to get home. You abruptly shook him, causing his head to dart up.
"You're finally up." You poked his forehead.
"Aw! [name], you woke me up when I was having a good dream." He whined as he rubbed his eyes.
"Oh were you?" You smirked at him.
"Yeah.." He sulked.
"C'monn, let's walk home together." You said tugging at his arm.
"Okay!" He smiled, quickly grabbing his things.
