||Two Months ago||

The others were all there at the hospital now, waiting for Scout to be allowed to have visitors. Asher and the loyal Serpents were all milling, all around the hospital.

Josh and Storm were trying to talk to Asher, but he was ignoring all of their attempts to speak to him.

After hours of waiting, the doctors came out and all of the kids and her parents, were still waiting. "She has severe injuries, all over her body. In and out, she honestly looked like she has been through a war, and all on her own too." The doctor stated and then all of the questions from their big group, all came out and were pouring into the Doctor's path all at once. "One at a time! One at a time, please!" He shouted and they all looked at Asher and Hawk, who both stepped forward.

"Why did it take so long? Is she, at least a little better now?" Hawk asked and the Doctor sighed at his questions and shakes his head.

"Unfortunately, according to her statements, none of you know any thing about her other illnesses that have been plaguing her for years. I suppose that is to be expected, a big family and friend group who know karate, and all--"

"What are you trying to say to us about my daughter?!" Amanda, as usual being a Force like thunder, just like her daughter, she barged into the conversation and the Doctor's face and his expression, indicated that it was not at all, good news.

"She has been coming to us in secret, for months. She has been since diagnosed, with glioblastoma multiforme." The Doctor stated and a hush fell over the crowd, and Hawk's eyes were terrified and there was no one who couldn't see the terror in the two guys' facial expressions.

"What is glioblastoma multiforme?" Amanda demanded and the two boys looked over at her and tears were rolling down their faces.

"Brain cancer." Hawk whispered and the Doctor sighed quietly, as he marks it down on a clipboard.

"The chances of her surviving more, than maybe a year, are very slim. She has already been fighting this fight, since she was in Juvenile Detention." Asher looked like he was going to be sick, as he looked at his sweaty hands, whicb were shaking a lot now, and they were trembling like leaves in the wind. "Only a couple of visitors at a time."

No one moved to stop Hawk and Asher, as they bolted down the hall and both practically flew into their best friend's hospital room. "Coming to say goodbye, already?" How Scout could possibly still be joking at a time like this, no one would ever know.

"Were you going to tell anyone? Or were we just going to have to declare you dead from some horrible, fucking unknown causes?!" Asher snapped at once, and Scout's eyes were ashamed now, as she shakes her head.

"You know that I really, really hate to agree with your boyfriend here on any thing at all." Asher rolls his eyes at the term. "But, we did deserve to know all about it Scouty. We all did." Hawk said and she smirked a little bit, coughin' a little.

"Sounds like you two are actually agreeing on something for once. It only took me being beaten half to the death." She muttered and they looked at her with eyes, statin' that it was not at all funny.

Amanda and Daniel raced into the room with Sam and Anthony right on their heels. "Well, nice happy family we've got here." Scout joked at all of the looks on their faces, and she looks to Anthony. "You get kicked out of yet another sleepover?" She asked and he rolled his eyes.

"Real funny." He said and Scout mimicked his eye roll, as she tended to do with kids like that, and she looks over at Sam.

"You beat Tory?" She asked and Sam's eyes glints with pain and exhilaration, all the same.

"Yeah. Yeah, I did. Although it helped that you managed to injure her before she attacked me." Sam points out and Scout rolled her eyes.

"I didn't injure her, she injured herself. That's what happens when you fight with only your limbs, and not your mind as well." She said and looked at her arm, which was stitched up and bandaged up tightly. "She did get me with the knife, great. Dad, I'll buy you a new carving knife." She said and Daniel shakes his head at her with a sigh.

"Josh is currently interviewing everybody around, trying to figure out the identities of the Serpents as well as the other Cobras." Amanda stated and Scout looked over at Asher, who barely shakes his head.

"They aren't Serpents, if they have gone over to Cobra Kai." He said and Josh knocked on the door, looking at the two boys. "All right, our turn. Why do I have a feeling, that I'll be identifying most of them myself?" He said quietly and Hawk followed him out of the room.
