For most of the drive, Scout was driving in an angry, sullen silence as she was none too happy about having Asher staring at the back of her head. "Can we turn the radio down?" Asher asked and Hawk looked at Scout, who nodded slightly and Hawk turned up the music. "Oh, I see. The silent treatment." Asher noted and Scout's phone rang.

"Hey Mom." Scout greeted her mother as the phone had been picked up via Bluetooth in the car and her mother sounded like she was seething.

"Where the hell are you?? I was worried sick!" Amanda practically shouted and Scout winced at the volume, as Hawk was quick to turn down the volume on the car again at the sound of their sensei's wife's loud shouting.

"Uh, we had some unforeseen complications coming back from Golf N Stuff. Cobras, Serpents and all that shit." Scout stated bluntly as she stopped at the red light and she waited with a small sigh.

"Hi Mrs. LaRusso." Asher jumped in and Scout turned to glare over her shoulder at him, as she shook her head slightly. "How's life been?" He asked as he leaned forward and Scout hit the gas and sent him flying backward into the backseat.

"You should all come over. We're making dinner now, aren't we Anthony?!" Amanda was half shouting into the phone and over her shoulder, as her voice cut out slightly and Scout shook her head slightly.

"Anthony cooking? It kind of sounds like a recipe to get fucking food poisoning." Scout didn't mince words, ever, and this was no exception. "All right, fine, we're on our way." Scout stated as Asher's stomach growled from behind her and Scout hung up the phone. "Why did you have to speak?" Scout asked sharply and Asher lifted his shoulders in a shrug.

Scout drove up into the driveway and she parked, as she spun the keys around on her finger and Hawk tried to grab them. "Very funny." Scout muttered as she hung them around her neck again, as she walked up to the door and put in the code. "It's me, Hawk and Asher! Don't come out with the baseball bat!" She shouted as she opened the door and to her clear relief, her mother did not come out swinging with a baseball bat.

However, Amanda had neglected to tell them about Miguel, Carmen, Johnny and Miguel's abuela being there and Scout shook her head slightly. Scout tossed her bag onto the couch and Amanda cleared her throat. "Ugh, fine. Hawk and he, can start eating, if Hawk can even pack anything else into his stomach." Scout said as she picked up her bag and walked up the stairs, as she was walking into her room.

Scout shut her door behind her and she sighed softly, as she leaned her head against the door and it occurred to her, that her heart was ramming against her ribcage and that something was making her panic. "What the hell is wrong with me?" She murmured and she tossed her bag onto her bed and she opened the door to her closet.

Scout flipped through the clothing and she spotted the Serpent jacket in the corner and she sighed quietly. "Jesus. I'm getting suckered from every side." She muttered and she hung it up in the closet again, as she switched out her hoodie for a new one and she walked back down the stairs with headphones hung around her neck.

"Scout." Amanda said and there was a warning edge to her tone of her voice, as Scout sighed and she unplugged the headphones from her phone and she left the headphones on the small table behind her chair.

"Good?" Scout asked and Amanda crossed her arms over her chest and inclined her head toward the table. Scout grabbed her plate and served herself from the variety of food and she sat down between Anthony and Hawk, since Anthony was poking at Hawk's mohawk and he was generally, just being a total pain in the ass. "Leave him alone, Anthony." Scout said and Anthony grumbled something and within seconds, he was on the ground as his chair had been knocked out from under him.

"OW!" Anthony shouted and Scout was stifling her laughter, as she went to looking at her food and she started eating, as Hawk leaned around Scout to see Anthony trying to get up. "What are you laughing at??" Anthony snapped and Hawk turned back to his plate as well, while he was chuckling under his breath. "Mom!" He complained.

"Daniel." Amanda murmured with a knowing look.

"Scout." Daniel said.

"Sam." Scout was just being an annoying pain in the ass with that last one, knowing full-well that her sister did nothing.

"Scout!" Sam complained and Scout lifted her shoulders slightly in a shrug. "Mom!" Sam complained to Amanda and Scout raised her eyebrows, as she continued to eat her food in silence.

"Scout, apologize to your siblings. Now." Amanda said and Scout paused with a mouth that was full of food at the moment she had asked.

"Why should I apologize, when I've done nothing wrong?" Scout asked and Anthony's hand shot out to hit her, but Scout ducked and spun out of her chair. "You should've taken us up on the training, little brother." She said and Anthony lunged after her, as everyone else was laughing at the sight of Anthony trying to catch up to his sister, who was using his own momentum against him, so that he would rocket into the walls.

Anthony took a swing at Scout, who moved her head to the side to avoid it. "You are going to have to be faster than that." She pointed out and he swung again, which she moved sideways to avoid.

"Scout. Go to your room, kid, now!" Amanda ordered sharply as Scout looked over at her mother, as Anthony had tripped over a torn plank of wood and he was now lying on his face. Scout shrugged at her mother's words, as she grabbed her plate. "Leave the food." Amanda stated and Scout groaned quietly under her breath, as she put the plate down and she walked up the stairs.
