|Miyagi-Do Karate,

The Next Morning,

Day 1: Miyagi-Do & Eagle Fang Karate|

Daniel and the Miyagi-Do kids were waiting along with Scout, who was already practicing the Wheel technique on her own and trying to teach Demetri, who was having a little bit of trouble with it. Daniel whistled quietly and Scout stood up from the stance, as she stood next to Demetri as the Eagle Fang kids showed up.

Bert went to stand with Nathanial, Miguel went dead-straight to Sam, Chris welcomed Mitch with a handshake and Hawk stood in front of Demetri and Scout for a second, before he moved around to stand on Scout's other side and finally, Johnny Lawrence walked into the backyard dojo and Scout raised her eyebrows slightly at the other Sensei.

The class bowed and the Sanseis bowed to one another as well, however briefly, before they turned back to their students and they stood in their "teaching positions" ready to train with their students.

"Ready?" Daniel asked.

"Let's begin!" Johnny barked out.

The Miyagi-Do students looked very confused at Johnny's "let's begin" and Scout briefly looked over at Hawk with a raised eyebrow and he lifted his shoulders slightly at the look and Scout rolled her eyes a little, as she turned to look back at the instructors.

"Uh... begin what?" Demetri asked, raising his hand as he did so and Scout, she took a very slightly shaky inhale of breath as she waited for Johnny to snap at him for interrupting and she was slightly relieved when her father took over the speaking and not Johnny.

"Begin a new era." Daniel answered Demetri, who looked satisfied by the answer. "Most of us were once enemies. Many of us were threatened by a person standing next to us, or across from us. But now, Cobra Kai is the bigger threat. We know that Cobra Kai is gonna use every dirty trick in the book. There is only one way that we're going to be able to beat--"

"By kicking their asses so hard, they shit themselves." Johnny interrupted as Scout went silent at that, and she'd shake her head. "We gotta take things to the next level. Gonna teach you an aggression that is stronger than anything that Cobra Kai can throw at us." Johnny said as Scout shook her head slightly and she sighed.

"This isn't gonna work." Scout murmured under her breath as the two opposing Senseis, they were both already instigating the bickering from all sides.

"Fight!" Johnny yelled, dropping his hand between Bert and Mitch. Daniel stopped them midway through and with no warning, Mitch had just been kicked hard into the rock symbolizing inner peace and balance. "Why do you have a rock in the middle of your dojo?!"

"Ready... Fight!" Daniel dropped his hand down to start the fight between Sam and Demetri, whose quiet focus, it was interrupted by Johnny throwin' a bottle of water at Demetri and it hit him in the arm.

"Hawk. LaRusso!" Johnny snapped and both Sam and Scout stepped into the ring. "No, you. With the scars on your head." He said and Sam sat back down as Scout flexed her fists and she settled into her fightin' stance. "Right. Ready... fight!" Johnny started them off and they circled briefly, before Hawk lunged forward at her with a series of hand techniques and kicks.

Scout blocked the kicks and ducked under the hand techniques, and she caught him by the wrist and managed to flip him over onto the ground.

Hawk grunted and he rolled across the ground to avoid the punch to the gut that would have been in any sort of tournament, a point, and he got up onto his feet again. "Come on Hawk, kick her ass!" Johnny ordered as she was going back and forth, circling all around the area.

Scout dropped to the ground and her leg swung out hard, knockin' Hawk to the ground and Scout caught his arm in an arm-lock and he tapped out real quick. "It's not so easy, is it?" Daniel asked and Hawk shook his head, as he shook his arm out and Scout nodded a bit, as she walked back to stand in the crowd next to Sam.

After the first not-so-successful first day of training with Johnny and the Eagle Fang kids, Scout was sitting in her car with a soda in her hand and a knock was heard on her window.

Scout looked over and she reached over the console to the passenger side and she opened the passenger door as Hawk held up a case of beer. "How is the arm?" She asked and drank her soda, as he scoffed and cracked open a beer.

"It has been better. But at least you didn't break it." Hawk pointed out as he drank the beer and she shrugged a bit. "Hey, you think that you could be a friend and talk to the Miyagi-Do kids about..." Hawk didn't know how to be phrasing it and she turned her head to look at him.

"Are they giving you a hard time about everything?" Scout asked and he nodded slightly, as she drank her soda and she sighed quietly. "I will see what I can do. But... ultimately, it will just take time." She murmured and he nodded, as she finished her soda and she put it in the side of her door, in a cupholder.

"What made you so quick to trust me again?" Hawk asked and she looked at the ocean waves, listening to familiar sounds briefly out of the windshield a bit, before she lifted her shoulders in a shrug.

"I knew that you were going to eventually come to your senses. I just didn't know, when, that would happen in any case." Scout murmured and she was shaking her head. "I knew that somewhere deep down, the quiet guy that I went to Juvie for defending, was still in there. Somewhere. Buried real fucking deep no doubt, but he was in there somewhere." She murmured as Hawk scoffed loudly, but he was now smiling more. "Is it true that you beat the shit out of Brucks?" She asked and he nodded. "Good riddance." Scout said softly and she reached over and she slid her hand into his with a smile on her face.

"He had it coming." Hawk murmured and she nodded, as her phone beeped and she sighed quietly. "Your mom?"

"Yeah. She insists every night, that I be home by 8." Scout muttered as she nodded slightly. "Buckle up. I'll drop you off on the way." She said and she buckled her seatbelt and drove off.
