Lisa relaxed with a cold iced coffee, lost in her thoughts. She often found herself in a dilemma, torn between denying her feelings and maintaining her pride. The situation was making her life increasingly difficult.
"Hey, Limario!" a voice called out, snapping Lisa out of her reverie. She turned to see her best friend, Chaeyoung, grinning at her.
"You scared me! I'm thinking here, don't bother me," Lisa said, annoyed, but Chaeyoung just playfully smacked her forehead. Lisa glared, questioning her friend's actions.
"I know I'm small like a bean, but I hate beans! Talk to me, Limario, I'm bored," Chaeyoung groaned, sounding like a kid who had lost her candy.
Lisa sighed, nodding in resignation. Chaeyoung was the only one who had replied to her messages, so they were hanging out at a café together.
"School is coming. Welcome back to hell," Chaeyoung said suddenly.
"But you're going to see Mina from the Moons, right?" Lisa replied, teasing.
Chaeyoung blushed. She had a crush on Mina but was avoiding those feelings because Mina seemed to be annoyed with her.
"Shut up, Lisa. She's pissed at me. I don't want to talk about it," Chaeyoung mumbled, looking at the floor, embarrassed.
Lisa burst into laughter, her amusement echoing through the café.
"Yah! Don't laugh like that! At least I'm not like you, almost taking Jennie's first kiss. Jennie, the leader of the Moons," Chaeyoung shot back, mimicking Lisa's teasing tone.
Lisa immediately composed herself, her laughter dying. Her cheeks burned with embarrassment as memories flashed through her mind. She sighed deeply and sipped her coffee, trying to forget.
Lisa took out her phone to message someone, planning something fun.
Phone Conversation:
- Lisa: Yoo Jeongyeon!
- Jeongyeon: Wae!
- Lisa: Let's go to the bar.
- Jeongyeon: What time?
- Lisa: Now.
- Jeongyeon: Okay, where are you?
- Lisa: Here at 'Have a Good Coffee.'
- Jeongyeon: Okay, give me 30 minutes. Wait, is there anyone with you?
- Lisa: Yes, Cub is with me. Invite Seulgi with us.
- Jeongyeon: Okay, I'll just take Seulgi with me.
- Lisa: Okay, take care. Bye!
- Jeongyeon: Got it! 😉
End of the phone conversation.
Lisa turned to Chaeyoung, who was sipping her strawberry milkshake.
"Chaeng, we're going to have fun!" Lisa said, tapping Chaeyoung's shoulder.
"Jjinjja? Where? What? How?" Chaeyoung bombarded Lisa with questions, looking like an excited kid.
"Chill! First, we're going to the bar. Second, call Dahyun and the others. Jeongyeon is coming and she's bringing Seulgi with her."
"Copy! Wait, I'm going to call Dubu," Chaeyoung said, taking out her phone to call Dahyun.
On Call:
[What's up, bro!]
"Hey bro! We're going to the bar! Come on, bring your ass here, let's have some fun!"
[Wait, wait! Who's going with us? And where are you?]
"We're here at 'Have a Good Coffee.' Lisa is with me, Jeongyeon and Seulgi are coming too!"
[Okay, that's cool. Wait for me there! I'll try to bring Ryujin!]
"Okay, okay, we'll wait for you all here. Goodbye, drive safely!"
End of the phone call.
"All settled, we're just going to wait for them," Chaeyoung said, nodding and patiently waiting.
