5 - The Day

The moons were now preparing themselves; it was the start of another year with their classmates and friends.

The same went for the suns, who were putting on their uniforms. Members of the sun wore yellow ties, while the moons donned black ties. These ties signified their respective groups.

Once everyone was ready, they headed to Galaxy Academy.

Jisoo had finally returned to Korea, but she hadn't had enough time to meet her friends. She had texted them, but she hadn't messaged Rosé, wanting to surprise her.

Rosé received a call from the girls, who were on their way to the academy, exchanging 'see you's' and 'take care's' as they drove.

Seulgi was with Jeongyeon again, heading to the academy, too lazy to drive her own car.

Wendy, who had also just returned to Korea yesterday, had already texted her friends to apologize for not being able to hang out together.

Ryujin and Dahyun, who lived together, made their way to the academy as well.

Joy texted her friends to let them know she'd be late, as she had to finish some family matters.

Jennie had texted Mina for a ride since her car had broken down. With only one car at her penthouse, and the others at her family's house, she was stranded. Mina immediately agreed to help.

Soon, all the girls arrived at Galaxy Academy, parking their cars. Chaeyoung, however, rode her big bike again. They didn't get the chance to meet in the parking lot as Jennie and Mina quickly left to wait for Rosé.

The moons and suns had separate parking sections—M for moons and S for suns. The director had decided to separate their parking lots to prevent encounters between the two groups. Fortunately, the parking lot wasn't crowded, making it easier to avoid each other.

The moons greeted each other happily.

The suns were loud as usual, but they didn't mind. They were just happy to be together again, especially with Jisoo and Wendy back with them.

The groups began heading to the elevators, on their way to their classrooms. Nayeon and Irene were praying not to encounter the suns, while Sana, Yeji, and Solar were hoping to see them.

Meanwhile, the suns were teasing Wendy as they walked.

"Look! Wendy's cheeks are so big! She looks like Majin Buu! HAHAHAHA," Moonbyul laughed, and the others joined in, making Wendy roll her eyes.

"I just got back here, and now you're all teasing me in the morning! So mean!"

"It's not teasing if it's true!" Dahyun shot back.

"Shut up, Dahyun!" The others continued laughing but stopped abruptly when they saw familiar faces approaching. Wendy cursed under her breath.

The moons and suns saw each other. Lisa noticed Jennie was missing. Jisoo and Chaeyoung searched for Rosé and Mina, while Wendy looked for Joy. Joy was also absent.

As they drew closer, no one spoke. Despite the awkward situation, Lisa wanted to ask the moons where Jennie was but decided against it. Ryujin felt butterflies when Yeji smiled at her, and Moonbyul playfully winked at Solar, who smirked, trying not to blush.

The others were busy with their own conversations, not noticing Ryujin, Yeji, Solar, and Moonbyul. Nayeon's heart raced as she prayed Jeongyeon wouldn't notice her. Jeongyeon, standing beside her, was the leader.

Irene felt uncomfortable, and so did Seulgi, who began stealing glances at Irene.

Impatiently waiting for the elevator, the moons' elevator finally opened, and they got in. Sana managed to give Dahyun a cute smile, which made Dahyun blush and feel butterflies. Chaeyoung noticed and bumped Dahyun's shoulder, playfully wiggling her eyebrows.
